- The 6ft7in athlete, who played for in the eighth tier of English rugby for hometown club Basingstoke, has been picked from the NFL’s international player pathway programme as an offensive lineman.

Clayton was selected with the 221st overall pick in the seventh round despite having never played a game in the sport but recorded his 40-yard dash in 4.79sec during the draft combine, which the Buffalo Bills said was faster than all offensive lineman have recorded over the past 10 years. 'It’s time to represent and show the rest of the world exactly why UK athletes should play in the NFL,” said the 23-year-old.

Getting vibes of Anotonio Gates from him. The Bills want someone to pair off of Kinca8d and Knox has battled injuries. We’ve got a triple back field much like Gilbride’s with the Giants and Joe Brady utilizes that system even better. How I knew Brady was for real, the stare he gave Diggs after his drops against Dallas, Pittsburgh, and KC. Joe Brady ain’t Ken Dorsey and he didn’t play.
