I've got the same problem with my 128GB SanDisk card (Extreme and recomended for 4K). I sent the cam back and recieved a new one today. The probelem might be at the microSD card. I'm gonna mail ThieEye again and ask thrm for cards working good with this cam and add ut to my commend, so other ones of you don't have that much unnecessary stress. Have a good day!
CYCHREUS GAMING people are claiming it's the card... I have returned my Toshiba U3 card and will purchase a sandisk when I get the refund. I'll let you know my results. What card are you using?
Roy Cruse It seams like you are the president of the card company, or you glued it in the camera and you can't remove it. Change the blady card with another to be sure that it isn't this problem!
On mine I would turn the camera on but after 2-3 seconds it would show a black screen but all the options are still on the screen but you can’t turn it off unless you take the battery out
We in the Russian forum 4pda.ru the thread to discuss thieye t5/t5e, many users card toshiba exceria complain about the problem write to this card in 4K. They have the same problem as in Your video, when you record more than 1 minute. Change the sd card and you will see that the problem is not in the camera.
Even if this is the case then the problem is probably still in the camera... Toshiba invented SD memory cards... I'm 100% convinced this card has zero faults. Just because the camera is unable to write to the card fast enough does not mean it's the cards fault. It could be the card reading hardware/software in the camera. Unless you can prove this card does not work in other cameras too...
Cosimo Traetta Not all sd cards with U3 marking do support 4K recording. I'm sure that if you select 1080p recording in the camera settings, then there will be no problems with recording.
Easy fix. Use a different SD card brand. I used SanDisk microSD it fixed it, but when I used a Samsung Evo micro SD card or would shut off
Thanks for helping me out. I've sat here scratching my head for 28 months waiting for the answer... Haha...

1st i used a samsung U1. Now i use a toshiba U3 64 gb and it fails again. Does your sandisk works or it is just that the camera is bad...
The card is detailed in the video description and IS a U3 card by a reputable manufacturer.... It is absolutely 4k capable....

It cost you much of your free time to change card?. It is 99% card problem.
The problem is not compatibility of the camera and sd card. Change the Sd card. Sd card is not suitable for recording 4K, it is for lower resolution.
Вадим Щербак so according to you this problem could due to the sd,that not being U3,it does problems recording 4k,2.7 and the other high resolutions?

Which sd do you have?
guys please help me i have the same problem
what card are you using - it would appear the only fix for this is to find a card your camera likes
I have the same probelm. I had it with a 32GB San Disk card and with a 128Gb San Disk. Maybe it's a software problem.
