the game needs more gold sinks so a personal island hideout that you can decorate, stock up with goods, recruit pirates to roam around and work for you, and more would be a HUGE addition to the game and would solve the issue of players hoarding gold entirely.
The biggest heist I ever did was me and my friend we went to a fort of fortune and we tucked on like a lot of ships and we tucked on the island to and it was like crazy bro we had to like attack them. While finishing the fort while they were like fighting each other it was crazy. There was like a gallon sloop two Briggs and like another gallon.
That dude almost made a friend for life that day.. Mason made him leave the server and now hes just somebody that he used to know. Ahhhh.. what coulda been.

To be honest if people would do more pvp through hourglass and less on the servers, it would be a great place to make new friends. There is so much fun stuff you can do with random other players. But instead you have to be ready that someone will shoot first, someone will hide and troll you. Instead you could play music together drink and puke on each other :) It is so rare even if I use horn and shout that I am friendly to actually make someone stop and just talk.
PVP servers is the only servers players can play to make the most gold and Reputation and to do the actual content. Pls safer seas is only good for some commendations and to play with actual little kids …….so yea and I think I saw your angle and devil on your shoulders arguing back and forth
