Did you ever show how to empty the dustpan of this broom??? That's the reason I clicked on this video. I skipped around instead of wasting the whole 9 minutes. I gave this video a thumbs down although it won't show. I won't subscribe either.
Jedi is the original vacuum cleaner, which is why I named my first dachshund Kirby. I never have to worry about food on the floor. Also doubles as a portable "lick washer" for the dishes!
My old Boston Bulldog was named "Pigg" because he looked like one. I called him my "household Hampshire Hoover" because he never left a speck behind three kids.

Omg!!!! When I was young, I'm 54, we had 1 of those!!! It was metal and my mom called it a carpet sweeper. It worked on all types of flooring
The 1st time I saw a push broom like this was in the 1950's, by Bissell. They are still used in restaurants while they are open because they are quiet & effective without annoying customers. The Bissell works; this thing doesn't.

I clean classrooms as part of my day, and those are amazing when you don't have time to run a vac. Or classes are in session. I've thought about buying one of these since my work one broke, but I think I will keep begging for a new one of that style
These were called “Carpet Sweepers” in the 50’s and 60’s. They didn’t’ have the twin wheels back then, they had heavy duty twin rollers which were much more efficient than the junk they sell now. They also worked from floor to carpet.

Only works when pushing forward , it dumps in reverse . We call it bissell-ing in the restaurant world .

I bought one of these to get the lint and pet hair that lives along my baseboards, and it works great. Make sure to only go forward with it, as the instructions even say that pulling it backwards will cause things to spit back out.
We LOVE ours, yes you need space and can only go forward with it, but it works great for us

Hello from Maine! I think it deserved only two Vivian heads, but you're so fun to watch I'm not bothered! I think of you up at 1:30 in the morning with your family (including your dog) sleeping peacefully while you are in your dining room deliberately dropping stuff on your floor just to clean it up again. You're a hoot!! There is no other person on all of RUclips that can compare to your reviews!
I had a lot of fun watching you explaining and describing this “broom”.
I got one of these off Facebook for $10 so let to help me pick up kitty hair and it works awesome. My hands became deformed from systemic scleroderma and using a regular broom is very difficult and exhausting forget trying to use a dustpan to pick up the pile and a vacuum just blows the hair around. I have this setting at my bedroom door and just snag it on my way out...pushing it in front of me as I walk...no sweeping motions and no vibration and no pile to pick up...I love it!

We own this. We have three dogs and it works wonders for dog hair. The brushes even kick it off the bottom of the cabinetry and in front to pick it up. For dog owners with hardwood floors it works. My vacuum works for the carpet but ends up blowing away the dog hair on the hardwood floors. This doesnt. I agree it lacks in other departments though.

I am 42 and when I was a kid we had something like this called a hokey. When I saw this infomercial I looked it up. There is many products out there like this. So it isn't the Mandela effect this time,Vivian.

I used to have. and LOVED the Swivel Sweeper! I used it so much that I bought another one for myself and one for a gift. I have a Dyson V6 Absolute that I TRULY cannot live without.

Ok, so seriously, I'm with you. The brooms gotta be emptied Often, or depending on what's in it, & depending on what you're trying to clean up, will make a difference in whether the spinning brushes spin it into the reservoir or drop it during the back spin.

I have a 2 year old who loves to throw food all over the floor and this broom has come in very handy for a quick pickup of cereal or chips, for messier stuff I just use the vacuum. I will say you can only go forward and swivel to the side, if you go backwards everything will shoot back out.
this broom works really good, i work in a daycare and i used this everyday! you have to go really fast. and don’t go backwards, you have to turn it, like your taking a U turn! Lol

First let me say, I love your videos ☺️ I received this broom from one of my daughters, this past Christmas. I have had 2 back surgeries and sometimes it’s just hard to bend over. So she thought she was helping out. The first time I used it, it was fun and things were being picked up. But like you just tested on several things that could be on the floor. It does just push things and it doesn’t hold the dirt, a normal broom works best. And one day I was using it and my husband woke up (he works midnights) he came out the room and said what is all that noice? It was loud! So now when my grand kids come over they ‘clean’ the floor for me ☺️ other than that it doesn’t get used.

Viv - my girlfriend . . . . you are MUCH to generous. IMO this is good for pet hair . . . . ONLY. (I'm not convinced with the glass) And I believe there are a lot of folks who could use it for that . . . but . . . that company has to stop pretending that it'll work for everything. Only push forward! If you push back and forth, the circle “brooms” will pull the stuff out from the containment area on the backwards pull. ONLY FORWARD! These were made clear back before vacuums were around.

We have the same dining table. Except for the fabric on the bench. Actually my formal dining room looks almost exactly like yours. Same wall color windows in the same places. I also have the matching china hutch and buffet table. You’re missing some curtains tho. I think they would make the room look nicer and tie everything together.

Think it would work better if:
1) it were cleaned out in between samples.
2) the bristles are dry ( you did the Tang after the ice & the bristles may have been wet making a bigger mess)
3) you only move forward, not back.
