they don't really make loud sounds, but invidiously, they sound so cool. and the fact Pentumbra makes music by trying to mimic the other monsters on the island, and x'rt idea of erupting is such a good idea, they just need to be louder.

from what i can tell, pentumbra mimics
track 1: vhenshun (track 1) and flasque (track 1)
track 2: yooreek (track 1)
track 3: jeeode (ethereal island, track 1)
pretty neat! prob my new favourite quad!
edit: thx replies for telling me flasque is also in track 1
It even uses the jeeode composer sound when it’s mimicking Vhenshun like composing king used it for the “ding” sound that plays

Pentumbra is one of my favourites! 👻 I don't know why X'rt is so hated either. It's a good idea that he erupts, kind of weird anyway.

He’s hated because he’s out of town and doesn’t fit in the song. I have a feeling that they might’ve messed it up and need to re-tune it or something or like maybe he’s playing a part that he shouldn’t be because he doesn’t really match with anything and it sounds out of place

I think for the future, we as a community need to practise being a little more patient, good things come to those who wait (Plus we now know workshop waves are every 63 days)
I was also pissed about ethereal workshop not updating.
fr I would be impatient but I gained patience when I waited 7 years for geometry dash 2.2 (and currently at 5 years for hollow knight silksong) but seriously if ur patient the wait is always worth it
i mean we just need to be as patient as June 19th

honestly? i don't mind x'rt, it kinda reminds me of that one super metroid track, tourian, and how part of it's ambience was often compared to the sounds of bodily functions. here i think it's used tastefully enough for me to feel alright with it

@@Aqua_Flamemations I feel like it is possible that there could be more verses in the future, because I doubt they're gonna fit the rest of the monsters into the current songs length, so I do think they're gonna give monsters like X'rt another track or something
He good, he’s over-hated, nite bear is still the worst tho, he literally plays for like 8seconds
I like X'rt lol. It seems like a Unique monster. Only problem currently is that it plays way too short and is a bit quiet imo

i can’t believe we’re only 2 waves away from completion. august 23rd marks the day that the poison quad, and potentially the quint, releases. unless the quint releases in it’s own wave, which would mean that the last wave is October 25. I also bet that soon enough, we’ll have rares on this island, which i’m very excited for.
I have seen that with the quads they re getting more genius ideas every time , im so curious of seen what they Will do with the poison quad !
Wow pentumbra really did top the scary vibe mpg wanted I just like the fact that it mimics other sounds during its singing like how in track 1 and 3 you could hear sounds of jeode on ethereal island and in track one you hear a lot creepy eeky choir noises and the yooreeks first track. Very creepy indeed
