  • In this quick video, I'm sharing a few effortless ways to wear a beautiful crescent shawl.
Crescent shawls, much like their name suggests have a rounded or crescent shape. The ends of these shawls tend to spiral and have beautiful drape as opposed to triangular shawls which just kind of hang.

@@KnittinginthePark I did! I like the assymetrical way, especially after you added the leather snap bracelet.

I have 4 kids so I know your time is at a premium, but if you could one day do a how-to-wear for asymmetrical shawls I would appreciate it so much. I'm nearly ready to bind off my Nightshift shawl but I'm already wondering if I'm going to wear it or if IT is going to wear ME, lol. Kinda stressed about it tbh.

Yes! I have a sweater on my needles that I'm trying to finish and as I do so I'm planning my first asymmetrical shawls :) So I will have some soon to play with. We'll figure this one out together.

Maggie is always telling me to "play" with my shawls...I'm just lucky I wear them with the right side facing out half the time

First of all, very pretty shawl. Love your suggestions for how to wear a shawl. The bracelet idea is wonderful, never had thought of that before and does not involve a shawl pin piercing the work, which worries me -- after all, getting any hole in a knitted piece is not what you want to do.
    Thanks again.

You can also use a claw hair clasp to clip it together.

That's a great idea! I'm thinking that it would need to be a bit larger, do you find that's true?

Knitting in the Park I hope so, the outlander version looks so versatile and cozy! How long do you think I should make it so it would fit around a larger torso? How to calculate those dimensions? Please advise and have a great day😇
