  • Behold one of the last classic low-floor series buses as part of a cancelled Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) order! CTA initially awarded a contract to New Flyer Industries for the production of the D40LF's in 2010. As the body shells of the buses were already produced, CTA cancelled the order. These body shells were eventually used for the production of the C40LF's for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in New York City. Nowadays, New Flyer produces buses of the Xcelsior types.
    Recorded on June 6, 2022.
