In this special Father’s Day episode of Own YOUR Future, I got to sit down with author, entrepreneur, investor, community builder and new friend Pace Morby, who seems to have come out of nowhere…
But if you’ve been following me for a while, you know there’s no such thing as overnight success.
Pace’s “secret to success” could be summed up in one line: “I win because I do what others won’t do, don’t do, can’t do.”
Pace is the founder of Subto, an educational resource for experienced and novice real estate investors that teaches the freedom of creative financing in the United States. He’s host of A&E’s “Triple Digit Flip” and has built a wildly successful real estate empire. Pace is one of the most creative real estate investors out there. He’s also an amazing husband and father with a heart to serve.
In fact, let me ask you… would you let a $1 million dollar bankruptcy letter stop you?
Would you be willing to drive strangers around with you and show them HOW to make deals?
Would you be willing to fail in front of those people and show them HOW to learn from that and keep moving forward?
That’s exactly what Pace did. He put in the work and did what other people aren’t willing to do. It’s no wonder he’s created the amount of success he has today… he put people first.

As a hairdresser myself that’s been on the mentoring side of things for newer talent it used to piss me of the amount of I can’t I would hear. Alcohol and weed still seems to be the number 1 priority of hairdressers. I chose to do hair because it’s what I love and it’s an industry where you can do anything you want. Getting so big that I can’t be ignored by the people in my past is the number one thing that fires me up. Just added a whole salon to the list 😂. Thank you so much and happy Father’s Day.

Wow!!! Literally took notes watching this episode! “Care so much about what service you are providing that you feel bad if they don’t say yes.” I can personally say that this is how Pace operates. I’ve been very blessed to be mentored by Pace and see the fruits of his labor and how me and my friends are so better off by saying yes to being a part of the SubTo community! Sounds hoaky but it’s true! He’s extremely patient with so many of us as we navigate how we can bet on ourselves in the world of entrepreneurship! I LOVE this dialog and the bounce back and forth btw Dean and Pace. You guys are great together.
My greatest takeaway is FOR SURE, "You don't 'balance', you 'integrate'." As a mom of 2 trying to find my place in business, I struggle to justify the time away from them to do better and make better for our present/future. I guess now I figure out how to integrate.

I am halfway through the podcast. Everybody has the same journey as long as you are committed you will be successful no matter what’s the obstacle even if it’s your own mind, that’s the hardest one for people to realize they always think it’s the money or the experience, but most times it’s our minds that’s holding us back.

Absolutely amazing podcast from two amazing men.
I have a million notes from this episode however what stood out to me was the idea that if you want to create wealth and abundance in your life, create wealth and abundance in someone else’s life.
