This very sweet, modest & incredible talented young man,has many strings to his bow - it's rather obvious these vacuous talking heads, have zero idea of who he is - the jokes on them.
Not only has been seen by more people worldwide, because of his amazing portrayal of Simon in Young Royals, which has been in top ten most watched programs on Netflix - since season 1 - certainly more people have seen him in Young Royals, than some of the actors up for Oscars that night, but it's only going to rise once the finale is debuted next Monday 18th.
His mesmerising, utterly natural portrayal of his character is breathtaking, an honest, perfectly nuanced performance, his first in what I believe could be an awesome acting career, considering he has/ is giving a performance worthy of someone who grew up in the business - like the incredibly talented Edvin Ryding, who's been on screen since he was a baby; their chemistry on ( & off screen) has only enhanced Young Royals as one of the freshest, most relevant programs that has ever been shown, to date. With credit to ALL the other young talent on this fantastic show, which simply ignores all the formulaic tropes of the average YA programing, creating a phenomena rarely seen, but, much praised ,all very much deserved.
Omar has a beautiful voice, his a capella, proving this rising star has zero need for auto tune. And as a cherry on top - he can dance, too - & has a unique sense of fashion, that never appears he's trying too hard
At 26 he is actually 5 years older than Edvin(21), which when see together on screen, seems impossible.
Like all Young Royals fans,I'm terrified of what's to come on Monday; the only prediction I can safely make is Omar,is destined to very likely be collecting an Oscar or Gramy at some point, maybe sooner than later.

As for Season 3, with one episode to go: I feel the writing has deteriorated greatly: Would there be that level of "hate mail"/gay hating/homophobia in contemporary Sweden? Would the Queen disintegrate like that? Would the school have reacted as it did? Would Wille be distraught at info on his brother at an initiation ceremony? The list goes on. The "camping" episode in the woods...just bad, bad, bad! Sorry, but that's how I see it.

@@timjones143 But we're still going to watch, right? Having had a similar experience with another Prince, his family & another country; though it seems a ridiculous way to behave in the present,it's remarkably similar to their behaviour 40+ years ago.
On the whole court etiquette & guidelines are followed until no longer tenable,it's strange & DEEPLY hypocritical as many of the beurocrats are themselves gay - gatekeepers of knowledge handed down for centuries. Have a watch of the utterly fabulous "Mary & George", everyone is obsessed with bloodlines.
So on many levels The Queen & courts behaviour in YRs made sense to me,but, yes times change & TBH I feel its time for Royals, regardless of sexual orientation to either step away, with grace OR with that same grace make the most of a situation, that has every chance of endearing to the people.
I walked away from potential "happy ever after ", he had an arranged marriage & I was invited to wedding & held my position ,until the hypocrisy finally pushed me to seperate entirely. I was lucky I found an amazing partner & he has no idea of "that time in my life ",but,we've been together for 18 years now & I love my life,my husband & our children.
I also know, through the grapevine that my ex has had a miserable time, children via IVF & a wife who walked in with her eyes open wide. It took 3 years for the contract to be signed, before they even announced their engagement.
I honestly try to just watch films & TV shows, others have invested time & money in knowing I can just turn it off if I don't enjoy it. As I have no money or real emotional investment I can sit on the sidelines as enjoy - even if there are plot holes you could drive a bus through!
I am a spectator, with no chips in the games, when I hold my sons,I know I made the right choice for me.
Regardless of which way the ending goes,it's not going to satisfy at least some demographic of fans, but, they didn't invest in the production & have no voice.
The phenomena I genuinely find strange is,to me,the obsessive fetishism by young girls fir gay boys, who in the real world, ight possibly be a friend, but never anything more. That is the side of YRs,Heartstopper,Red,White&Royal Blue to name but,a few. The reverse phenomenon is definitely not seen in lesbian love stories with hordes of young men & boys "cannonising" them/their relationship. In fact I'd say it was the complete reverse. Thought straight boys might fetishize "lesbian porn" - made in the greater part by men ,simply as a revenue stream. Time & again,I've had both straight & gay maie friends finding lesbianism,be be it sub plot or graphically depicted almost as much of a turn off as finding themselves in a threesome, realising they're utterly superfluous!
Monday,Tues next week will - whatever happens & regardless of our approving or not - closure to an amazing series, maybe not perfect, maybe not to everyones taste, but, its been fun whilst it lasted. Edvin will continue his career & I believe he's going to be one of the top artists worldwide,Omar the true winner regardless of any ending is set for World domination, and I really wish him well & belive in his talent. As for the rest of them,I'll be surprised if we hear anything from them in 10yrs time. Role on Monday, I have my popcorn machine & tissues ready - que será será or Det som kommer att bli kommer att bli.
      Very best wishes to you&yours👋✌️

      Hmm...Thanks for the response.
I agree that irrespective of the "ending," a "certain demographic" will be disappointed. This is inevitable. However, my earlier comments on the deteriorating plausibility of the script remain. And yes, I agree that Edvin Ryding is a very fine actor and Omar Rudburg is more than a pretty face...tho, of course, his acting debut has been helped by his being alongside the acting talent of Ryding.
I'm not especially competent as a music critic...but the music that Omar performed at his solo concert was never gonna be huge internationally, and I thought, even in what is really quite a small venue COMPARATIVELY he lacked "presence". All that grabbing at his crotch doesn't work...he is NOT M Jackson, or Freddie Mercury or even Elvis Presley...but there is no shame in that!! :-)

Pleased he got through those "which movie" questions. But "I'm Venezuelan "...No...He is a Swede. And Venezuela one of the WORST governments, or misgovernments in the WORLD. Hideous conditions there.
