  • “Klay 37”
You know you had a historic night when any NBA fan can identify it with a mere name and number.
On January 23, 2015, Klay Thompson poured in an NBA-record 37 points in one quarter. This record might be broken someday, but I very much doubt it will be broken on perfect shooting, making 13 shots, 9 threes and 2 free throws without a miss.
We are celebrating the fifth anniversary by sharing this video ambitious labor of love. We integrate a video analysis of that night’s plays with commentary from the participants (Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Steve Kerr and Klay Thompson) from their interviews after the game. We hope the quotes will give context and flavor to the video and the video will illuminate the gameplay discussed in the quotes.

This is really incredible top notch work. The interviews over the breakdown of plays is incredible. Whoever made this is talented. This needs to be shared I think a lot of nba fans would love to watch this.

I watched that game live. That was the greatest sports moment of my life. It was beyond amazing. Kings should feel no shame. Nothing was stopping Captain Klay that night nothing. I live in Sacramento but grew up in the Bay area. I used to go to a lot of games at Oracle but I got prives out. I still go to warriors games in Sac though.

“Last time I had a scoring barrage like that” … “I was in 4th grade, and I was playing against 3rd graders too.” 🤣
    Klay unintentionally funny af

Just incredible, incredible work. Better than the best documentary I could imagine being made about the Warriors. Letting the people speak for themselves, bringing the moment to life. And great basketball analysis done effortlessly at the same time, so the whole thing deserves to be rewatched many times. I love this.

Believe me, I've watched Jordan in person in the 90's and this performance was probably the best version of a basketball player that I've ever witnessed.

I've watched the King's announcers version a million times. It's cool to hear the opposing team realize what a moment in history this was. This video is even better! " I don't understand what you all want me to say?!"

He's 3 days away only.... The league can prepare as much as they want, but Klay's motivation to come back surpasses any team's will to win IMO....

I am a Kings fan and still can not believe how he was able to do that. There are no words on how he did. Never missed 1 shot in the 3rd quarter. Had that last basket count. He would have 38!!! Incredible accomplishment.

He, Klay, is the real stalwart of that championship team. Without him they went to last place. With him, they won a championship. He is the key.
