FISHING BOTANY BAY EP-10 "Kingfish and DOLPHINS in the Bay"

In this episode, I decided to do an unplanned Kingfish trip on the bay. I landed a few squid and a 67cm Kingfish for dinner. The highlight of my morning was all the DOLPHINS I saw in the bay close up

Hey brother. I use 60 to 80lb braid and then with 80lb flurocarbon leader. I go heavy cos Ive been smoked in botany bay many times.

What boat ramp did you launch from. I usually have to launch on my own, seemed like a nice boat ramp

I launch from Port Botany boat ramp off foreshore drive. great ramp, gets crowded on weekends

@@thefightingfisherman8063 I go down to Port Kembla, always manage a good feed of flathead there. I used to fish Botany Bay but with very little luck. Big Bay I guess I just didn’t know where to fish or how to fish it.

Gday mate love your work I’ve been going to port botany with my Tinny a lot recently I caught a 70 model kingie on the troll with a big samiki lure I’m heading out there this weekend thanks for your tips etc gonna go for live squid ,unfortunately I can’t go past the heads as I’m only in a Tinny but from what see see from your videos your still in the bay catching them I am more confident to go squidding at all the spots I’ve seen on Your videos I hope you see you out there one day , keep up the good work , new subscriber, are you on Instagram I’m ‘wildchildartist’ if you are onthere,
