    Hello,
I passed my test today here in Kentucky. I watched your videos and it was probably the best tool I've used as an electrician. If you flip through and follow along with these videos, it prepares you for the test so well. Thank you for the time and insight. Let's get to it!!!
    Chris

This 10 week course has raised my confidence in doing calculations, services, overcurrent protection, grounding and bonding and motors which is 80% of the 02- residential NEC exam. I appreciate you coach! Stay Grindin!

I paid $1750 for a master electrical course and I got the same thing if not more. The only thing they covered that you did not was series and parallel circuits for dc

Please keep this up. This is very helpful. I've been out of IEC for a while now and I'm trying to test out before the new code. Limited income so these free crash courses are perfect. Thank you!

My next birthday is in a couple of months. The most difficult part for me so far has been calculating loads for new buildings. I think I'm going to review that section again before I take the license exam. Still on target. Thanks, Perry.

Why are we listening to the terminal rating, before you said we never listen to the terminal rating.

What table was used to find the wire gauge?

Thank you for this awesome resource! Incredibly helpful. I have a question about motor overload: 430.32(c) seems to say we can size up as long as the protection is not above 130% (for all other motors). So, for your example with a motor FLA of 54, overload calculates to 62.1 which is between our options of 60A & 70A breakers. 54(1.3)=70.2A, so a 70A breaker is within limits. Can you clarify this for me?

Hello Coach does 220.5(B), which tells you to round up at .5 and up, applies to motor conductor and overcurrent protection sizing? I noticed you rounded down 30.25A to 30A which would have changed the wire size if you had rounded up.

It's a classic bad example you will never have a question that will be a quarter of an amp it's being taken out in the revised program.

Hello. I'm on week 10, been watching your videos very closely for the past 2 weeks, which has helped me get a better understanding on how to use the NEC, I'm very grateful for your efforts. I would like to know for this episode. How did you find out why we only use our FLA for overloads, and FLC for short circuit, ground-fault protection. I only know how to use those factors, because you said it on the video and you made it clear on how to use them. But how or where in the NEC does it mention it?

In your 3rd example of 30.25 amps on 60 degree terminals, you should pick #8 not #10. 10s are only rated for 30. Am I missing something? Rounding? Thanks
