HUGE CARE HOME ABANDONED AFTER A FLOOD | WERE WE ALONE?

- During the Christmas eve of 2013 a flood occurred at a now abandoned care home for the elderly in crawly. After one of the nearby rivers burst its banks fire fighters had to use boats to rescue the residents and get them to safety.
The care home has now been abandoned for 9 years and is still standing after plans to make a new flood proof care home had fell through. Whilst exploring this care home it was obvious that people had been squatting and sleeping rough inside.
During the explore I find personal belongings and other items some of which have very recent dates on them indicating that there are either people still living there, Or had recently moved on.
The care home was covered in mould, Cold and generally grimy.
I can’t help but imagine how upsetting the flood must have been for the elderly residents involved and hope they all managed to get out safely.

Thanks to everyone who has been watching, Subscribing and Purchasing the clothing it really means so much to me and I couldn't have done any of this without your support.
Very emotional watching this video as I worked at Gables back in 86 .
There were 56 residents and then the owners extended the house at the back. It was definitely haunted.
Sad to see that confidential notes still in the home and zimmer frames etc
Great video brings back good memories
Hey buddy, I’ve just finished work and going to the pub for the football ⚽️ 🏴 I’m looking forward to watching this over the weekend! Take care mate 👍
Just watched the video mate and again another fantastic explore! I’ve quoted up several care homes this year for new Electrical installs and they are rooms upon rooms and corridors after corridors. I must admit I get a strange feeling from occupied care homes let alone derelict ones. Agreed people have been clearly living there recently by the look of it. Keep the good work pal! ….Smithy
They are proper creepy, always usually huge and maze like! Yeah you can deffo see people have been living there for sure!
Thanks for watching mate ☺️👊
