I got LASIK done at Shroff Eye Centre, Kailash Colony, Delhi and my doctor was Dr. Dariel Mathur. If you’re considering getting LASIK done, I would recommend doing your own research and consulting a doctor because everyone’s eyes are different.
A couple of things I forgot to mention in the video: You can’t wear eye make up or get threading done for your eyebrows for an entire month after the surgery.

I got Lasik in 2021, it's been a year and I have perfect vision as of now. No side effects. It's been the best decision. I had watched tons of such videos before getting mine done so anyone who's thinking to get operated, I would say go for it!
What kind of Lasik you chose and what's your total cost for the surgery
LASIK procedure for myopia, they reshape the cornea. It was around rs.55k for both eyes.

I’ve always hated glasses. I stopped wearing contacts because I wasn’t properly cleaning and taking them out. They also made me more tired. I think I’ve gone even more blind since so I really wish I could afford lasiks

You are lucky enough to get successfully eye surgery done . I was the one in lakh patients whose eye lasik surgery got wrong In 1 eye . Its been 10 years now and i use specs just from the next week when my lasik had done . I dont know what the doctor had done with me . I just think about my bad luck and continued my life as it is. So i request everyone to go for surgery not before 21 yr of age and go to a good recommended doctor . Thank you and have a nice day .

@@shr9448 I would suggest you get it done after reaching the age of 23-25 as after that the eye power stops fluctuating and remains constant in most of the cases. But if it’s urgent and your power has not changed since last 2-3 years then you can consult the doctor for this procedure

Hi there, I've got Lasik done but my power is still -0.5 in both eyes. The doctor says its negligible and shouldnt hamper my everyday life. He doesnt recommend wearing glasses either. May i ask what was your eye power after your surgey? Did you get 0-0 in both eyes ?
Hey yes it was 0-0 in both eyes. It shouldn’t be -0.5 so I think you should probably consult another doctor too and see what they say
you should know that the bladeless LASIK uses a laser to cut your eye instead of a microkeratome.. and then the doc will peel over the layer in both the cases

Is it true that we have to sign an agreement stating that we understand there's a risk of losing vision completely?
in worst case scenerios you can get a point power which can be treated and risk of losing vision completely is a myth
Very informative video. I had lasik done in 1986 from a clinic on Park ave in New York city. Cost then was 2 thousands dollars, but after about 10-15 years it diminished, and I needed glasses again. About 5 years ago I got multifocal permanent lens implanted. The cost was 20 thousands dollars this time. It has been working great. With this my vision will not deteriorate with the time, and will not have glaucoma or cataract problems ever. Thank you for sharing your experience with your followers. I know a lot of them will get guidance from it.

Hey it’s very unlikely that the power will come back and even if it does, it’ll only be -0.25 so very minimal. But there are very few chances of the power coming back.

I had multifocal lenses installed after going through cataract surgery in both my eyes.
It has been over a year now and my eyesight is perfect. The operation cost me over 4 Lacs. The price of the multifocal lenses and the laser method of operation is definitely high but worth it.
I was told that although I will not need glasses for day to day activities, I might need help with reading very tiny print. Happy to say that I can read the tiniest of prints without any additional glasses.
All in all a comfortable, safe and totally painless experience.

My brother aged 65, had his cataract surgery done 12 days back. He too had damaged his retina using harsh eye drops. His retina had developed holes and he had to undergo laser surgery to correct that. This was over 15 years back. His cataract surgery was done by the same surgeon after checking his eyes thoroughly again. He had trifocal lenses implanted. The operation was totally successful and now he doesn't need any glasses.

I had consulted two doctors about lasik. Both mentioned that there is always a possibility of eye power returning about 10 or 15 years or so post the surgery. So they advised that its a better idea to get it done a little late in life. Because you canf get it done twice. Such a bummer! But i suppose a decade later there would be newer technologies to fix any post lasik issues.
Makes sense, but in 10-15 years, I’ll probably have reading glasses and won’t need the surgery anyway lol I’m quite happy I got it done now.

Kritika Goel Don't get afraid cz lasik can be done twice and after it you can go for ICL as many times as you want so you will never need glasses. Be happy till 80 years you will never need glasses bcz of advance technology 😊Are koi 200saal thodi jeena h😂😂

worse Part is...I was looking for bladeless surgery...Thinking it wouldn't involve cutting my eye...and no wonder I couldn't find any video where the eye is not getting cut...Soo...here I am re-considering if I should or not say yes to the treatment...My number is -8.5 btw. @@vishwasnaik1317 the 1st 3days, we should stay only in dark room. It feels pain because the layer which is cut during treatment takes 3days to get healed and get back to normal
