Seems like a lot of work and added app for something I've been doing for years in two seconds with the simple cropping tools included with every photo editor.
Thanks for your comment! I've been doing this too for over 30 years, including taping medium format negatives to these stupid paper cutouts to get the correct crop from my lab. :( If it is just for a few images, I agree with you, too much added work. When shooting over 50 headshots for a local business, this will save me time and ensure better consistency throughout the entire project. Additionally, I can easily re-run the batch and provide the company with square images suitable for Slack or other programs that require square formats, as an added benefit of hiring me.. I think Retouch4Me Crop is going to be a real benefit for my studio.
@@TomCheswick I too have had similar jobs working many headshots one by one. Batch jobs only work if the subjects are in the exact same spot. So I must agree that having an app that looks at each shot and employs the same cropping strategy would be useful. Though I don't see any jobs in my future that would benefit from it.
