@@JBehrMusic Can I ask you a question? I've followed the steps in the video and all is well except when I go into the routing/connections system:capture_1 shows up in obs in1 and in obs in2 system:capture_2 shows up also. When I add 3 & 4 from the Apollo then in1 shows 1 & 3 and 2 shows 2 & 4. Any ideas? Did I miss something?
Jimmie Bratcher Hey Jimmie. Is it possible for you to upgrade to macOS Catalina? If so, I would follow my Blackhole tutorial. It may also be possible to use Blackhole on Mojave, but I haven’t tried it.
Hi! The jackaudio.org/downloads/ page has changed from the way it looks in this video. JackPilot is no longer available, and my old copy won't run on Mojave. The new installer (1.9.16) specifically states "Also, the previously packaged JackRouter plugin is not available at this point." ... So now I don't know how to get Jack working. Can anyone help?
@@JBehrMusic Blackhole doesn't offer what I'm looking for ... Jack allowed me to reduce the number of inputs from a large audio interface and make a virtual soundcard with 'only' 32 inputs, which is the limit for Pro Tools. Any tips on getting Jack working again?
Chapelier Fou Not sure exactly what you mean. What kind of sound card do you have? My Blackhole video may be of help to you. Check it here: ruclips.net/video/miexiUIusts/видео.html
Hi, any idea how to get this to work with an aggregate device? In Jack preferences, I've found I have to create the same number of virtual input and output channels (plus the number of actual virtual ports) as I have physical i/o and tick the 'Auto-connect to physical ports option. Asides from that, I'm following these steps to the letter and not getting any audio in OBS. On the plus side, a few days ago I was still trying to use SoundFlower, but was getting really bad latency and couldn't monitor through my speakers. Now I have monitoring and sub 10ms latency... just no sound getting to OBS from Ableton. Should be a case of the same stereo outputs from Live that are routed to the system's master o/p also being jack'd to OBS In1 & 2, but nada :(
@@JBehrMusic Ooooh, I haven't. Thanks! I literally only heard of BH last week, but with a streaming gig this Saturday, I put the notion to change to one side. Unfortunately, though Tuesday's soundcheck sounded great on the test stream, I couldn't monitor without unworkable latency occurring! :s This tutorial has been a great help sort latency and monitoring, but errr... no stream. I'll give BH a try. Thanks so much for replying so fast!
Hey! I have a specific issue with JackRouter. Everything works except JackRouter does not appear on my Sound Preferences in System Settings. It does show up in programs such as Logic Pro, but not in System Preferences. Should I reinstall the program?
Dartremix JackRouter doesn’t work as well as Blackhole, in my opinion. Check out the video on my channel regarding Blackhole, as it is much easier and more streamlined than JackRouter.
hello there! I have a question, maybe you would know the answer :D I'm using JackPilot + external sound card and Obs for streaming, and every time after approximatelly 5 hours, the audio gets broken and dissapers, and I need to restart all the settings from the beginning. Any ideas why is this happening and any tips how to avoid it? Thanks!
cybermuta If you upgrade to Catalina, try using Blackhole instead. I have a tutorial on it. You may be able to use Blackhole just fine on Mojave as well.
@@JBehrMusic Thanks for an advice! And BlackHole not gonna run on Mojave? Unfortunatelly i can not update to Catalina as I need some old software versions on my mac..Need to figure out how to fix the problem in Mojave with JackPilot...

@@JBehrMusic I will need to check and see if Pro Tools has made the transition to Catalina. If they have then I will move up.
Pro Tools recommends sticking with Mojave for now. I may be forced to try Blackhole that way. Thanks for responding.
Thank you! First video with a pro audio interface that I found which actually helped me set up my large MOTU (74in / 54 outs) system to work with OBS.
Awesome! Glad it helped :)
