We went 6 weeks after hurricane Ida here in Louisiana, so we can definitely empathize! The most important thing is that everyone is safe! We will keep you, and all Nova Scotia, in our prayers!
I am glad to see y’all are doing alright. Here in Texas I have had some hurricane “fun” over the years, even being as inland as I am. A week or two without power gets to be a bit much. At least you are not having 100+f temps at the same time. Take care of yourselves and support one another. 🥰

Didn't know you were in NS... here in PEI, the damage is devastating. I didn't have power for three days straight. Houses got swept away by the water. Houses got swept away by the wind. Trees tore down powerlines. Bridges were destroyed. Teacup Rock was destroyed. It was so scary. I'm glad you two are safe. Best wishes
It's pretty bad... We tend to get Cyclones here, both still leave the same devastation...And areas in New South Wales Australia have been totally flooded the last few years. Everything floats away, including people's homes. I pray that you and your family, which includes your dear pets stay safe. Much love ❤️ from 🇦🇺🦘❤️
