A few convenience things I did to my Porsche Carrera 3.2.

I pulled over to take a short vid of a few things to make life a bit easier with the Carrera. It was a nice day to spend with the car and it doesn't get any better then that.

Hi there! Can you tell me what that additional wiring is below your fuse block (4:56), where the JWest headlight relay would typically be installed? I have the same thing and wasn’t sure if it was also a headlight relay or perhaps part of an aftermarket immobiliser. Thanks for the informative videos 👍

Thanks! If it's that square plastic connector under the fuse block, I'm not 100% sure what it does but it's in the Bentley manual pictured so it's supposed to be there from the factory. My *best* guess looking at the wiring diagram ('88-'89) the wht/red wire goes to the up to the instrument cluster and on to the blower resistor. And I think one of the other wires goes forward to the front condenser fan connector. So most likely just HVAC stuff.

Oh, one more thing! Is your wooden shift knob attached to the stock shift lever? Any mods required to get it on? Any chance you have a link to the part?
