His skill and talent are indeed unreal. There are a ton of different sections and layers yet it doesn't sound overcrowded at all. The arrangement is just pure creative magic on the loose! If you're interested in his music production, he recently did a lengthy interview with tape notes, showing some of his works in Ableton from the latest album. A very insightful interview.
I always loved “Pink.” I remember hearing it around the same time I first heard the “Street Halo” EP by Burial. “Pink” was my favorite Four Tet till “Sixteen Oceans” and “Parallel” came out.
People who complain about the price of Spotify don’t calculate in the value of discovering songs like this in their weekly curated playlists. Such a dope track and new fan ✌🏼
Great soundscape, progressions, subtle and seamless changes, addition and deletion of sounds, well produced and brilliantly mixed. My only dislike is the sharp, digital sounding snare timbre that's prominent throughout the mix. With such great, subtle tone everywhere else, this tends to stand out in a less pleasing way to my ears. Just my opinion, not really a criticism, as many may like that sound. Overall, fantastic piece.

Very VERY clever grooves that become percussive soundscapes. Reminds me of Darren Emerson's or Leftfield's way of building tracks that were epic.
