Picked up at 8am by the ambulance, taken inside, x rays and a consultation with my surgeon and back on board the ambulance within an hour.

In my EMT class I learned that as distracting as all the blood and blunt force trauma looks, it’s nothing compared to an obstructed airway. We are taught to focus on making sure they can breathe before anything because not breathing will kill them the fastest
