Merry Christmas Toads and Toadettes! It's the time of year where hollies and jollies run amock and as such another Mario World Christmas Hack is born! Well sorta. What you will find here is a new edition of the previously released Super Mario World: Christmas Edition with added Just Keef flair!
Now you may thinking why should I bother with that?
Well this isn't simply a new coat of paint, this is a complete overhaul of Nowieso's classic original and transforms the entire experience into a Super Mario Christmas story that you will want to experience and share for generations to come! Enjoy not only the fun and playful level design that Nowieso once introduced us all to but enjoy all the new graphics, mechanics, bosses (both old and new tweaked to match the difficulty style of the game) additional levels, character selection (fully integrated character swapping), secret unlockables, animated cutscenes with a heartwarming story ta boot, and more all SA1 enabled for a smoother more expansive experience brought to you by Just Keef (aka Bensalot)!
It is a short and sweet experience for the whole family to enjoy and can be beaten in a short amount of time making it the perfect "Night Before Christmas" tradition. So from both Nowieso and Just Keef, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Could i know the name of the song? I swear to god this sounds like a very specific old song i have in my memory vaults, but i can't name it at all. It's so catchy!

Im still chuggin away slowly on the main hack. Bit off more than I could chew. However, you'll be excited to know some things. The multiple character thing from the christmas hack is being worked into the game although Im finding it hard to work peach into it contextually since the point is to rescue her. Have her unlocked once you beat bowser but dont want peach to be rescuing peach on return visits (I know, i know, Peachette. But Peachette creeps me out), I have new yoshi colors with unique abilities fully and seamlessly implemented (that includes having each yoshi only show up in the credit scene if they have been unlocked) Yoshis now get enhanced abilities based on like colored shells (yellow yoshi + yellow shell = double jump enabled super stomp that kills all enemies on screen but makes yoshi swallow the shell), different tounge lengths for each yoshi to help balance out their abilities, some abilities have been made better and some are nerfed (cough blue yoshi cough). Nerfed the cape too so that people can't spam it making the invisible sky barriers redundant. Not to reveal too much but my main attraction is a purple yoshi. I want the game to feel authentic, therefore purple had to be added to the color scheme of the whole game down to even adding a purple bird on top of yoshi's house. You would not believe how much that game followed the snes logo color scheme (green, yellow, blue, red) which meant purple whatevers had to be implemented across the board to like friggin everything (koopas, galoombas, chitters, etc) (went with purple since the US color scheme was grey and purple). Working on some new levels, almost have a new switch palace fully functioning, the dragon coin save issue is no longer an issue at all, improved every character graphic again, some new dinos and Bowser minions, intro and outro cutscenes to the game with storyline, unique abilites for each playable character and so much more I can't even remember it all. All while maintaining the feel of the original game as if it was just supposed to be like this all along. Point is, IM FRIGGIN BURNED OUT lol. But rest assured, I make sure to progress little by little each month and I am getting close. Youll have your review work cut out for you my friend.

Sorry to bug you, but was wondering if it were possible to make an update for just keef edition with the fix you found regarding the yoshi coins. Was fighting chickadactyl for the heck of it while it’s slow here at work too and he sort of disappeared again. Oof.

@@andrewvidal5309 thats awesome, that picture is supposed to show up at the yoshi houses when the coins are collected. I had some issues with getting that to work so I hope it did.

It is the best Christmas-themed hack rom that I have played and the only one and I must admit that it is a very good Hack Rom that I finished it with 31 outputs on the day that I tried it, although I already knew that it is a bit short but there are some negative aspects that I would like to mention and a clarification I am saying this so that the Hack Rom improves in the future and I am using the translator since I do not know how to speak English
1) the design of the fire flower costume does not resemble those seen in games like Super Mario 3D World for example, what I mean is that the costumes do not have enough resemblance to those of the official games
2) I have no idea if this error is caused by the emulator I use (The emulator I use is Snes9X EX+ V1.5.67) or if it is a game error but when I exit the emulator and enter it again all my progress is deleted
3) There is a bug in the big Xmas Wishes level the bug is that when you go through the goal with Yoshi at a certain moment it turns black
4) I have no idea if it's my emulator but when you use the Automatic Save States before loading the game in the emulator the game crashes
Hi thanks for letting me know about these things.
1. The fire flower costume in this hack is supposed to be Christmas themed, they are not meant to look like the mainline canon games.
2. I think that is an issue with the emulator. This hack will run great on the current version of SNES9X
3. This is an issue related to a patch that I used to make other colors fade during the goal scene. Thanks for pointing this out, I have just submitted an updated patch to fix that issue.
4. I have no idea how the automatic save states feature works in the emulator you are using. However, there are certain points in the game that automatically save that could be interfering with this feature. I don't mean to sound harsh but I feel like autosaving defeats the purpose of video games. It is meant to be a challenge. Trust yourself and take some time to build the skills you need to get through the obstacles that are giving you trouble.
Thank you again for pointing these things out. I have fixed the issues that I know how to fix but with the other things I would recommend just trying out another emulator. Like i said, Snes9X is the one I used and got everything working on so I would go with that for this hack.
Hello again, thanks for responding to the comment, but I forgot to mention some details that I did not explain quite well in the first comment.
1) With the fire flower costume what I meant was that they have an appearance more similar to that of games like Super Mario 3D World and at the same time keeping the details related to Christmas
2) The version I use of the Snes9X EX+ emulator is the latest version of Android
3) I discovered the save state bug because of the bug that causes the game to be deleted every time I close the emulator and it's also the only way to keep my progress without having to beat the game again
