And wouldn't you know it I just dropped off my last project to the local machine shop on the 3rd.... Next time it will head your way. Next is the bottom panels and glove box on a 182RG :) I know knot a sling but diversify ....
Thanks for watching Michael, we do work on projects other than Sling, we just do not do certified avionics work, however we will cut panels for all aircraft.
Very cool. Your address shows you just a couple miles south of your local airport. Do you have a shop on the airport to service flyable aircraft panels?
Waterjet can be nice but the laser is a bit more precise on some of the smaller details but most important of all, water is very messy and we would have to clean out the tables constantly as they will rust.

We do work with the Repair Station there to produce panels for all the certified aircraft.
Pretty cool. Congrats. Silly question - what are advantages of laser cutter over water jet for cutting panels?

Very nice! What other materials does it cut?
Thanks, William. It'll cut most metals, but we'll likely be using it exclusively on aluminum. Thanks for watching!
What’s the control software for this laser called? Are your panel layouts designed in Fusion 360?
