I just have to say, this vlog has such a lovely and romantic tone to it. You two "get each other" and the way you care about each other is so apparent. Thank you for sharing this experience with us!
I can totally see you and Drew living in the Cotswolds. You both look so happy.
I grew up driving the back roads. It’s much better than a crowded freeway with angry drivers, wrecks, and construction. Y’all be safe and have a great time ❤
Carrie, I'm finding your England travel vlogs SO soothing and wholesome in the midst of what's going on in the world. I'm seriously sad about how my US tax dollars are being spent in the Holy Land. Prayers for Peace!! ☪️🕊✡️💜💜
First of all: THAT HAIRCOLOR OB YOU IS AMAZING!!!!! :)
Sencondly, you make me wanna travel to England now, damn it :D
Please don't feel you have to make content. Yes, we all love it (and live vicariously through you!) and yes your family loves it and you probably do too....but just take the bits you want to keep for yourself and your family and enjoy your holiday with Drew. It's been such a tough road this year, give yourself that gift. *hugs *
I can definitely see you and Drew moving to a small place like this. How cute. You can tell that this place makes you so happy and living your best life. ❤
We get an ornament and a magnet everywhere we go - after 26 years we have a TON.
I'm English but I've been living abroad for almost 9 months now and I miss all the little tiny things I didn't even notice before I left. Every time I see a travel vlog in England it makes me feel just a lil bit closer to home, so thank you! I can't wait to go back and see my home with fresh eyes after so long away. (I likely won't be going back for at least another year though)
Watching this in the pickup line for my kids, and I probably look like such a goober with this huge smile plastered on my face. You two are just so lovely and kind. Thank you for sharing 💗
Stop the Cotswolds vibes are so cute. Giving cozy fantasy vibes to the max.
I am living for these England vlogs 😍 and I live in England but I just love watching you explore and your excitement and love for it. When you next visit you have to go to Stratford Upon Avon, you'd love it ❤️
It's sooo interesting to see how different life experiences impact what we find scary etc. I'm from rural Canada where our country roads are literal gravel, you have to pass large farming equipment on the shoulder in a cloud of dust 😅 whereas freeways cause me so much PANIC the few times I've been in the US!
I've always loved that the old towns in Europe are so walkable. I lived in Southern Germany for a year as a teenager and in Iceland for 2 years when I was young (my 1st husband is Icelandic and we had two kids so they are half Icelandic). Fun, fun, fun.
just started watching but had to say your hair & makeup looks sooo good! ❤
She’s glowing!
Are you English at all? I know when people return to the native lands of their blood they can often feel extremely at home and comfortable. I have a lot of English heritage so I feel I will be so comfy there when I go one day!
I (American) have lived in England for 7 years and I have to say that the driving here is a nightmare- the roads are narrow af, people park anywhere they feel like it, and the drivers are really aggressive. I’m so impressed with your diving here, it’s still nerve wracking for me, even after so long!
I have lived in this country considerably longer, travelled widely, and wouldn't live anywhere else. Yes, country roads are narrow, because they are so old, and I love them. I respect your views on aggressive drivers but this is not my experience, in fact, you have to drive considerately or you wouldn't get anywhere.
Umm best vlog ever. High tea, cute cottages, pubs and pints, Lord of the Rings, miniatures!?!? It’s tooo much, my nerdy heart is busting ❤❤❤ I can tell I’m going to rewatch this one often. So happy for you guys🥰
Whats high tea?? I'm English and we don't do that
this vlog made me realize that i’m also an english countryside girlie 🥹🩷 anyone else?
this is like a dream vacation! thanks for sharing your experience, I love watching these vlogs! (also LOVE the plaid skirt)
I would love to be there at Christmas time I bet it is even more amazing.
Has Drew ever heard about the Miniaturwunderland in Hamburg? - he would enjoy that!
Carrie, you would adore the Lake District in the uk. Next trip idea!
P.S most people typically say path (path's) rather than pavement. Pavement is correct but we have lazy words for everything 😂
The Bourton-on-the-Water mini village gives me so much life. And the mini village WITHIN the mini village?! Just wow
OH if Drew loves miniatures and models, you guys have to go to Madurodam in the Netherlands someday. It's miniatures of like every landmark and famous place in the country.
Oh I just had another memory from that music miniature room. If you haven't watched 'Dog Fight' with River Phoenix it is a must
Love!!!!!❤ Stow on the Wold is so pretty, I took my boyfriend there for his birthday last year to the exact cafe and for a cute photo by the Tolkin door. The antique shops there are amazing too, ugh and all the houses... we kept peeping through peoples windows (respectfully).
I love getting Christmas ornaments on my trips. It's not something I have all year, so it's a lovely little reminder when I put them out of the box to put on my tree each year. I haven't seen anyone else doing it (I know they must, because plenty of places sell them as souvenirs). So it was sweet to see you do it as well.
We went to the Cotswold this summer and it was so magical and picturesque.
So beautiful!! Thanks for sharing!
You guys are so adorable. Love watching you both. Such a beautiful couple. God bless you both 🙏🥰
I LOVE pubs too. Simple, tasty, filing food. Good drinks. Cozy. UGH.
This was so enchanting. Thank you for sharing this beautiful experience with us.
How beautiful! I love your cottage. It looks so cozy! I feel like I'm there, so thank you for that😊
the fact you got back to your airbnb and so casually called it home. girl i think you were meant for the english country life.
Thank you so much Carrie for sharing your trip with us, it's beautiful ❤
The most wholesome video 😢❤
I grew up in the Cotswolds and live just outside there now. It makes me so happy to see you enjoying it here! I’ve always loved this area especially this time of year 😊 x
Absolutely loved this vlog 🫶🏼
So cute! I love seeing the UK from your perspective. The model village looks like the one from the film Hot Fuzz?
The model village from that film is just outside London on the M4 on the way north. Used to pass it driving from Heathrow to Oxford ❤
Heck ! This Spring-tide (2024) should turn up to be a hell of a Spring to be in The Cotswolds, since the whole of England has been saturated by bloody rain since the beginning of the year. Even here in the north of the country I notice that it is already becoming very, very green. I love this stuff - but I`d love it more if I could afford to have a home in those `wolds.
Such a cute area! Love it ❤❤
I’m living vicariously because I just watched the Holiday and omg!
Every time you end a video and say by I always say “byeeeee Carrieeeee” like I can’t not say it lol
Idk if you guys have ever been to Scotland, but I think you would love it. Especially Isle of Skye
Love how encouraging he was when you were driving.
Could totally see you two living there, you seem so happy & peaceful and you guys have a wonderful relationship, so sweet to see ❤️
Adored watching this Carrie! My boyfriend and I went to the Cotswolds last year… so magical ✨
I want to go to the Cotswolds for my birthday so thank you for the itinerary🩷
I just started the vlog and omg you could never tell you didn’t sleep! You look sooooo cute! I love the lip colour!
You are truly beautiful! Such a wholesome vlog 🥰🤍
Does America not have narrow roads where you need to pull over a bit to fit 2 cars? 😅 pretty common in Australia too!
Everything in this vlog is giving cozy vibes
Only in the mountains really and even then not too common… and definitely not in the major cities like LA where they live
Been here 😊 need to go again. I have family that live just down the road. You and Drew neeeeed to watch the BBC Two 1992 version of The Borrowers! You’d love it 😊
A lot of the countryside sights remind me of the movie Men lol
So cute!!! You make me wanna go
My husband and I have loads of matching Vans. It’s disgusting. 🤣💜
Loving your travel vlogs. I get to see the Cotswolds through your (and Drew’s) eyes … so glad you are there together. ♥️
Drew really is ted lasso 😂❤
Hearing your stock music, I think you might like the Australian artist Dean Lewis. Worth a listen if you haven't heard of him x
The ivy
I cant believe windows don't have screens in them there, is it everywhere???? Madness
Flying saucers are one of my favourites you have to suck them fir the best experience. If you chew them they are a bit less fun 😂😂😂
Is that the model village from Hot Fuzz?
What is the song in the background of your video, when you had some B-roll? "Changes"? By whom? Or if a fellow friend of Carrie's could help, because Google didn't. 🙃
Hi Carrie! I hope you see this, where are your cute prescription glasses from
When you are driving?
PLease please please link your shoes!
You are beautiful.
“The whole time I was like oh I wish I could do this with Drew” 🥹🥹 that melted my heart, thanks for sharing little bits of your relationship with us ❤
