I only came across this channel last Friday. I've never been on a yacht, I don't know anyone who owns a yacht and I'm unlikely to ever own a yacht myself, but I'm completely hooked on watching these yacht tours!
Sir, you have a brilliant method for such videos. Simply taking us through a yacht the way we would view it if we were doing it ourselves. No cheesy music, no slick cuts to drone views, no narrator standing in front of the camera blocking the view, no confusing edits, just a straight forward walk-through with narration from behind the camera. Most importantly, you take us to every part of the vessel. Extremely watchable. Well done.
@@AQUAHOLIC I've looked at the Beneteau Swift Trawlers, the narrow side deck on the port side puts me off. ( when the model actually isn't a wide body ).
Yes, an Aquaholic tour of a very nice catamaran! I don't know why but somehow I just really love the concept of these things. This one especially is a beauty because of the very spacious cabins for both guests and owner. The few caramarans I've had the pleasure to look at myself so far have all been rather cramped in the hulls. The only thing I'd be missing if I'd go out with this boat for a few months (hey, one can dream) would be a washing machine unless you'd want to find a harbour every time you want to do your laundry :) Oh, and the helm might be a tad exposed if you where to sail in a bit rougher weather. Really loved the tour, as always. The thing that sets an aquaholic tour apart from most (if not all) other yacht tours you'll find on youtube is Nicks uncanny eye for the practical details of each yacht. He'll show the flashy stuff of course, but it's not just some voiceover and a bit of music while somebody is carrying a camera through the most spectacular parts of the boat. You can see this man loves boats, the sea and actually using the things he's kindly showing us. Thank you Nick, you manage to bring a smile on my face every time you upload a video, no matter how bad a day I'm having!
Being in Australia and because of the time difference with the U.K, means when I wake up there’s always the chance of an Aquaholic video to watch whilst having breakfast. Brilliant way to start the day. One of the best RUclips presenters there is, Thanks Nick.......again!

This is an absolutely fantastic tour. Nick truly outshines all the others who set out to do what he perfectly does!. Kills me that we live in Stuttgart, just too far away from the Med or North Sea. Hi Nick, another epic review thanks for including a Catamaran, it is always good to compare space, convenience, build quality etc many factors to consider especially the running costs also.
@@AQUAHOLIC I recently found Vaan Yachts in The Netherlands, they are building a Catamaran from recycled and recyclable materials. This is the future to invest time and money in a sustainable sailing adventure, powered by the sun and wind, the running costs will be reduced and I won't have to worry about filling up diesel and gas for cooking, so many benefits for a more hassle-free sailing lifestyle. And the cherry on top is the design is epic as if Steve Jobs and Jony Ive had something to do with it, lol.
For a 46ft boat that’s a lot of master cabin. Quite amazing how they can fit so much into an area and make it seem large still. Bearing in mind it’s a cat, but still quite well done Nick
Never been on a boat of any sort, but I started watching a lot of sailing videos during the lockdown and have fallen for catamarans in a big way. I love the space on offer. Great video of this Lagoon 46 model.

"If your in a hurry on a boat like this then your on the wrong boat". Hilarious!! Lovely boat. I didn't see and Laundry Equipment but I thought I saw a cupboard behind the sliding door to the Master Cabin. "As you would expect" it might be in there. Great tour as usual.
Not the sort of craft I'd probably go for but I have been on one about 10 years in the Caribbean,only one of those snorkelling, cocktail drinking day trips. In that environment they are a beautifully comfortable ride and as you say the space on board is something else. Enjoyed that brought back some good memories,thanks.
Thanks again Nick. Now that was an interior I liked. I would class it as understated luxury. The floors not carpeted is a bonus as well. Red wine spills...not a problem. The space was amazing creating a super comfortable boat. The locker at the bow ideal for spare sheets and sails. I have no clue about working the uppy downy flippy-flappy things, but they look nice.
As far as the plastic fantastics go, I think Leopard is the best of the lot, but maybe Lagoon's quality has improved in the last few years. Still, if I were going for a sailing cat, it wouldn't be any of the slow, pondering luxury cruisers, it would be one of the performance cruisers, like Outremer, or Catana.
Another great video Nick. I chartered a Lagoon with another family for a fabulous holiday in Turkey. The video gives a very good impression of the living space. It is an amazing floating apartment. There are , as always a couple of compromises. Firstly the berthing costs are effectively double what you would pay for a monohull - which makes sense, but needs bearing in mind. Secondly. there is no keel, which allows you to go to places that other boats cannot, however the lack of keel, meant that it would slip of course far too easily, which meant it was not a pleasant boat to helm Looking fwd to the Beneteau review :)

Not seen a catamaran in Aquaholic before and I absolutely love it, the shape seems so much more practical and useable compared to a normal hull. Love the two seperated bedroom sides and those windows under the stairs to see in the ocean are just epic. My favourite boat if all so far on Aquaholic. Great tour - hope we see more Cats

For a production Cat, the lagoons are indeed quite nice. For serious blue water cruising I wouldn’t want the fly bridge model like this, as there will be times you need better protection. Some don’t like the “ikea” quality woodwork, but these boats tend to stand the test of time better than you might think. A lagoon wouldn’t be my first choice as a cruising Cat, but they are definitely on the list. Thank you Nick, and I hope you will cover more Cats as you get opportunities to do so. What a great boat. I can actually see myself on that in a nice retirement (money and sailing ability not withstanding). The best of both worlds. So far my favourite of the 100's of reviews given by Nick! Well done as ever fella.
A nice alternative and a boat you could easily live on with all the space. I love the idea of getting up in the morning as you suggest, to see what is for breakfast....oh wait a moment. It would be me doing the cooking!
Sailing, where range is governed by food stores not fuel reserves. Catamaran floor plans are always tempting but offer little privacy and only the illusion of space. There's alot of connected areas, you can see the whole boat from almost everywhere in or on this boat. Good for parties, not so good for everyday life, everyone needs time alone. I think this is a young person's boat. It's nice, but also a bit vanilla. If you opt for a washing machine it goes in the owners cabin bathrooom - next to the wash hand basin in a cabinet.

Lovely video , takes me back to January this year, chartered a lagoon in the BVI’s great boat, great time, seems like a lifetime ago now.

Sailing, where range is governed by food stores not fuel reserves. Catamaran floor plans are always tempting but offer little privacy and only the illusion of space. There's alot of connected areas, you can see the whole boat from almost everywhere in or on this boat. Good for parties, not so good for everyday life, everyone needs time alone.
I think this is a young person's boat. It's nice, but also a bit vanilla.
