- Uncomfortable Conversations with a Jew - that's the title of a new book by New York Times best-selling authors Noa Tishby and Emmanuel Acho. Their goal - to connect the dots between Jewish hatred and stereotypes from the past and how they're still fueling antisemitism today.
In a witty promotional video on Instagram, Tishby and Acho address some of the awkwardness with questions like: "The Jewish race, is that a thing? Are Jewish people white? But Jewish people control Hollywood, right? Am I even allowed to say, Jew?"

It’s so painful when someone who identifies as culturally Jewish doesn’t acknowledge that God sent his son Jesus for the salvation of themselves and the rest of the world (& to reconcile all races together and with Himself, through the [albeit painful] cross. It’s so wonderful when a Jewish person does.. there are many channels on youtube about this, they are very compelling. (quite addictive even). There is no way for races to be reconciled without acknowledging Jesus .. there is no other way around the issue. 1) I don't love all Jews. 2) But I do like some Jews. 3) And I do like some Jews more than other Jews. 4) Because Jews are people. 5) And I get along with some people better than with other people. 6) And the fact applies to Jewish people. 7) Who are more than their ethno-religious identity. 8) Which is why I chose to like them on a case by case basis. 9) As opposed to indiscriminately loving someone just because they are a Jew. 10) Because my Jewish friends tend to be extremely suspicious of that type of behaviour. 11) Because that's also a form of stereotyping. 12) And in my personal experience, every Jew is unique. 13) So they deserve to be treated as individuals in their own right. 14) And to be liked or disliked according to their own behaviour. 15) Because they are all personally accountable to how they conduct themselves. 16) And I find they respect me more when I engage them on a personal basis.
