Oh Man I had to go right when it got spicy, I have a lot to say about TVC...!!! I'm still convinced Black series was the deal they made with Disney and didn't realize that, the so called "Industry standard" was not going to work for star wars. Since the blowback from long time collectors, Hasbro has been trying desperately to pivot but doesn't realize "the legacy world building scale formula" that was designed by Kenner NOT hasbro, is THE ONLY REASON WE HAVE COLLECTED FOR THIS LONG. Without 3.75, they may as well board up the windows. I have spoken! 😉
Really hope Hasbro listens to your comments starting around 1:29:00, because you're echoing what a majority of TVC fans are feeling right now. Regardless of Hasbro having to shuffle things around due to delays of Disney+ series, that has nothing to do with their absolute refusal to expand TVC's annual budget in a significant way. We have proven time and time again, in multiple ways, that TVC can be a cash cow for Hasbro, yet they seem not to care. They're leaving millions of dollars on the table by not expanding the budget, period. More and more collectors are going to start falling away soon, all because Hasbro refuses to do something as simple as double the amount of all-new sculpts each year.
