This is an Educational Channel about Fine Art - Music - History of Art - Architecture - Creative Designs - and Photography.
Education policies almost universally recognize the value of arts. Forty-seven states have arts-education mandates, forty-eight have arts-education standards, and forty have arts requirements for high school graduation.
The purpose of Education is to prepare generations to find jobs, become good human beings and enjoy the different forms of beauty in everything we do every day.

do they teach about business in art too? like how to put your art in shows/alleries and how to make money with art? I want to go to a skillful art school that cares about teaching these things too
You have to contact the schools and ask them, or check their curriculum.
traditional art still live in a digital era? still indecisive in using digital format or paper....
I have done both. It depends what you feel comfortable with. I am used to use pencils and brushes, feel and touch. I have also done digital art. They both have their pros and cons. In the traditional art you have to purchase materials, paper, canvases, paint, brushes etc. and they also take space when you store them as an inventory. To my personal opinion, I feel I have more control over a traditional brush when I hold it in my hands. In regards to Digital Art, I like that I don't have to physically store any materials, you simply store them in your hard drive on the computer. If you are not happy with the work you can erase, change, manipulate the layers and you can re-do your art work without being noticed like the physical paper.
Only Art Academy in Saint-Petersburg (named after Repin) and Moscow Art Institute have high skills training in modern realistic art.
All the others can only give abstract painting course. And all their professors and instructors cannot draw in the classical sense (realistically).
So it's two opposite systems of art education.
For sure, I have no doubt. Choosing an Art School is based on your preference. It is a matter of your choice, of what kind of school you want to go, or what kind of curriculum you want to study. I know in Europe people study or paint more in a classical way, in North America people like to experiment with lots of materials such as Mixed Media, Collage or other materials, and some people like to create Abstract. To my opinion, I think everyone should learn the basic elements of an art work -Composition, line, shape, color, texture and space. I also think it is important to know the basic elements of drawing such as proportion, perspective, light and shading. Abstract Art is not just throwing colors on canvas, is much more than that. We started new art movements with Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Fauvism, Expressionism, Cubism, Surrealism, Abstract. All the painters in these periods studied classics previously. Again, people have to do their own re-search and find out what kind of school they are looking for.
The ones in Italy are pretty good I think some have implemented Russian constructive figure drawing
Looks like you are right. I am an young artist from Russia and have been looking for an art school abroad for a long time. And I really can't find an art education system similar to the Russian one. At least when it comes to international master degree. (I don't know for 100% sure how it is with the bachelor's degrees.) This never ceases to amaze me. It's really hard to figure out where to go.
@@wfox7280 поступай на магистратуру в репинку, сейчас за границей практически не учат академической живописи
I would be curious to know what you mean by modern realistic art?
I'm also claiming it in Jesus name Amen 🙏🙏🙏🔥
You forgot The royal acadamy in Antwerp (Belgium) one of the best in europe and the oldest... :)
Does anyone have recommendations for Fine Art schools that are focused on teaching you technique and who value skilled/practiced artists, I’m really tired of every school I look at only seeming to care about conceptual and modern art, it’s just not for me! (preferably in the UK or Europe)
Well you have st. Petersburg... they teach realism
gaja pekosak will check them out, thanks!
Fine art schools in Greece have a 5-day examination period where you have to paint/draw specific subjects with acrylic and charcoal/pencil. Not sure if this is what you are looking for. But you can only participate in these exams if you have graduaded high school. (No portfolio required)
Émile Cohl is exactly what you need, trust me at 100%. It's based at Lyon, in France

Tuition fees for the Academy of fine arts in Rome/ Florence are 2.600euros/year but if you find a job in Italy and you are considered a working resident the second year you pay less (300-600euros/year. The cost of living is quite low, one can survive with 600-700/month and if you are a native English speaker you can easily get a job as a teacher/ salesman etc

@@mariannapanagiotoudi2223 Hi, is this info still valid? I’m finishing high school next year and are planning on getting into Fine Arts. Also, this question may sound dumb but, do I need to know Italian to study there? Thank you so much for your comment, I’ll try to search more in my own too.
@@rmo3961 hello, can you tell me if you got into any college? And did you have to learn italian?
@@ShobhaRani146 hii, I'm sorry, in the end I wasn't able to afford living in another continent as I'm only medium class in a third world country, so I didn't even try doing the entrance exams bcs it would just make me sad if they accepted ME. I kept gathering information about Rome University of Fine Arts and I hope I can some day study there but not now. I can help you a little if you have doubts about that specific university, but nothing else
All these schools have become a heritage only where there is no real art nonsense, maybe waste remains in Russia. This is a possibility to sell paper certificates only, where professors have higher degrees but do not understand anything in art. I do not advise anyone to spend money on these empty schools that have become only a heritage, where there is no true science of art. Perhaps the Sanbatr Academy had little art left in it. If you want to learn the art you have to go to atelier is the best choice to learn and its best of them in New York
