Not sure if it comes in the size you need but there are couplers the have a little pin hole to create a siphon break. I have mine inside my top off reservoir above the water line it came with my RODI unit from BRS. I have over filled my reservoir that put it under water and it didn’t work to well. If you don’t submerge it works great . I only made that mistake once
It's coming together nicely. I'm currently dealing with dinoflagellates and it's a pita. It's all due to starting with dry rock. Next tank I start will be half live rock half dry. I'll worry about the hitchhikers later.
I'm jealous of the space these larger systems have for dosers and controls. Its a tight fit under my RSR170 lol I really like my Kamoer Dosers so far. I have a simple doser made by Kamoer for Hydros to dose All for Reef, and an x1 Pro T to dose Kalkwasser over night. So far they work really well. The only issue I have found is the X1 Pro T with randomly disconnect from my wifi. Its not a deal breaker for me, but it's something to be aware of.
Super clean setup, wish my waterbox 45 had more room for a control board. Im going to build a cabinet next to the tank that holds all the electronics and a bigger ATO resivor. My waterbox sump takes up the whole tank stand, and has a built in ATO resivor that's is only 2.5 gallons. . . It lasts maybe 4-5 days lol. Might cut out the ATO resivor too, seems kinda useless to take sump volume away. But I see what they were trying to do, I just don't like keeping the electronics above the sump, which is kinda my only option, lol it's kind of a mess
Thanks Atkins! These plug and play systems from waterbox and Red Sea are great, only real issue is the size of the ato reservoirs. Im sure it cant be fixed when trying to keep everything inside the stand, so I am 100% with you on building out a separate cabinet. I wish I had that kind of talent to build from the ground up!
@@zburnreefing I love building stuff, some good tools and basic math gets me by, I've built racks for my freshwater tanks, a cabinet is something a little different, needs a lot of finer work. Hoping it turns out well and matches somewhat next to the water box lol.
Nice bro. How much did you get the EL for? I was looking into the Apex JR since I really only want it to monitor PH for me. I then will have my Kalkwasser doser on a wifi controlled outlet so that I can turn on manually via the app from anywhere.

I believed I paid $300 for the EL. Maybe there is a better deal to be had, but seemed fair at the time.
