I have owned this ice maker for a few years. I am an ice snob, so an expert on ice, lol. I use distilled water and this is the best ice maker I have ever had. I highly recommend it!!!
Distilled water? Doesn't that make your drinks taste strange? I can see using bottled water like those 5 gallon bottles of water you get at Walmart for like $2 but distilled water sounds gross.
I bought a COSTWAY ice maker and it works but it doesn't make ice cubes then it gives an error on the LCD screen Refrigerant leak. I need help, I am from Guatemala and I imported the product from a company to Amazon
It holds ice but does not have a built-in freezer if that is what you are asking. I leave ice in for several hours and it does not melt. I think anything more than 2-3 hours though and you are probably going to want to put it in the freezer.
@bobbijacobson1123 At the bottom of where the ice is made, at the top of the reservoir, there's a plate that if pressed down by ice (full reservoir), it turns off the process. As the ice melts, it drops lower, and the pressure is released off that plate, and it starts to run again. The ice can meld together. So best option would probably to put it, after made, into a freezer, but it's not necessary. The best time setting for making the sheet of ice easier to break apart, is about 6. More than that, the ice is thicker, thus more difficult to break apart.
Not even 90 days in and my Ecozy no longer has power going to it….. And yes, I tried it and other plugs and it does the same thing no power and nothing lights up. Did anyone else have this problem?
You think this is a nice ice machine? If you had paid for it would you still think it was a nice machine? I'm sorry this technology has been in existence for 60, 70 years and they can't get the ice cubes to fall out individually? I'll pass.

How is it to clean? Have one of the ice makers that makes the hollow cone like ice, very hard to clean properly

Can it make clear ice?
Can it make clear ice?
If you set the timer to run faster/less thick, then the ice will be much easier to break the sheet apart.
If I'm not mistaken, ours is at 6.

Does it hold ice and keep it cold or do u have to remove and freeze it?

Does it continuously keep making ice as long as there’s water in there or do you have to just push the on button each time you put water in it?
