Its nice to see such attention to detail replacing the dial with a Seiko dial, I have a few myself but I will mod my watches in future Thanks for a great video.
Sea knight is better finished than Heimdallr. I had both. Only thing with sea knight was the orange dial was a bit darker than the chapter ring. But I had the v1 heimdallr, which looks like the seiko monster gen 2 Heindallr better dial. Sea Knight better case and bezel
@@ShortBetter I bought 2 to get a discount, one to keep, other to flip. One had a wobbly bezel, if i would press around the 45 min marker it would click down. But turning the bezel was fine. The crown guards felt sharp, annoyingly so when operating the crown. More sharp parts. Also the Sea Knight bezel cut off would align better with the case. The Sea Knight had some sharp point where the shroud meets the case. But overall it felt better finished. Just the orange tine of the dial was a bit muddy. That is why I sold it. Also the minute hand of both homages are a bit small. Not so legible. So I sold them all. I really like the Addiesdive Seiko Tuna homage, with sterile dial. Much more legible, no sharp points. nice hands. Just probably the thin bezel may be hard to turn with wet hands. I used to have the first generation Seiko Monster. If the Sea Knight had the Heimdallr's dial I would have kept it. But maybe the V2 Heimdallr Monster that looks lile the first gen Seiko Monster is better finished? Maybe a blue or black Sea Knight Monster would work, but I went in a different direction. I may get the Addiesdive Sumo homage. But the Sea Knight monster at 90 USD or so is a good value.
It is a Seiko movement still and the gen 2 Monster is not available any longer...to me it is a bit like an AC Cobra with a Ford crate engine...is it an original Shelby Cobra? No...is it still beautiful and a functional replica? Yes it is. So are you correct? Sure...is your hate for what is being done in this video warranted? Not in my humble opinion...have a nice day!

How about the bezel action in Sea Knight?

@@ShortBetter it had no wobble. good enough
@@stefpix I will make a new companion video soon
What is the diameter for the dial? Is it 28.5mm too? Thanks
It's 29mm
@@ShortBetter thanks as always
HI the dial is no longer there?
link doens work
Yeah, this dial is not easy to find now
Fake, always fake. Buy an original Seiko and could be happy.
Original Seiko is overpriced garbage
Okay😀 Thanks for your comment
Why do you still linger here like a not properly washed carpet stink? Don't you have somewhere else to be pathetic?
@@mahmudulhassanhasib3816 me?
