I started following and subscribed you because you had the meteor. Loved your videos. I'm heart broken that you have to sell this beauty. I'm from Bangalore too. Whenever I saw an olive meteor in any of my tours, I used to check if it's you. No worries brother, life is full of adventures and surprises. We have only one life, live to the fullest. 😊❤
I recently bought meteor matte green after watching lots of your videos/vlogs. Kind of heart broken too to know you are going to sell it but I am exited at the same time to see your next adventure. All the best!!
last week, I test rode seven motorcycles: Honda Highness, CB 350, Royal Enfield Classic, Bullet, and Meteor and both triumphs After the rides, I've narrowed down to three: 1) RE Bullet, 2) RE Meteor, and 3) Triumph Scrambler 400. The Honda, especially CB 350, lost appeal due to an annoying sound and gear and bullet was more comfortable than classic(gave me back pain) WHAT DO YOU SAY AMONG THESE 3? Comparison may not seem fair but I am driving Car and activa since 11 years.
My Pick would be Speed 400. Meteor is good only if you can sustain the cruiser lifestyle. Meteor's Rear stock suspension is back braking (i had swapped out the rear stock suspension with older classic Nitrox ones). My suggestion would be if you are looking for city oriented motorcycle go for SPEED 400. Brakes are good , has good low and mid range and suspension is by default better than meteor. But if you want old school cruiser kinda feel with low maintenance and better fuel economy go for meteor.
I am 5.11 and i feel speed very small compact scrambler i did feel worth adding 30K i think i should do extensive test drive like 10+ kilometers for meteor and scrambler. @@ridewitharko
@@PiyushPatel10 Ahh!!! That changes many thing personally i am also eying on the same bike. HD 440x has a very mature engine (Pull Over Power), will give better milage than speed. Its long stroke & people are saying vibes are well controlled. Has good sound and Feels like RE 500 but better. Please have a test ride and check if the suspension is smooth and does it change the riding dynamics with pillion on board. The mid variant of HD 440 is the ONE(Value For Money) to go for. Lemme know your findings as well. Thank you
i tested harley yesterday. but the network in my city is not established properly. Harley in my city has warehouse kinda service center at HIGHWAY, its 30 km(45 minute) from where i live. I think i ll have reliability issues. Also hero maverick 440 is coming soon which might overshadow the road presence of harley. And they are not sure if they are planing to get inside the city. Engine is good but company is not focused on afterSales. i will talk to Harley once agian. I am confused. Yesterdays visit is tilting me towards meteor 350 or triumph @@ridewitharko
Bro, i have the same meteor as yours. Odo 4000km, now i am also planning to move to dominar. I love RE but i think i am having issue with my back in meteor due to leg position. Any advice?
Cruisers are not for everyone. It is a very restrictive way of riding a motorcycle. Not everyone's frame (body dimensions) will support the ergonomics. Dominar's ergonomics is typical sports tourer style. Dominar's ergonomics will not put pressure on your tail bone. However, domi 400 is a top heavy machine so you will have to get used to it. Another point domi is more powerful than a meteor so mileage is little lesser than meteor 350. If possible take a rental domi and go for a 100 kms ride to figure out if it fits you perfectly.
Why exactly did you sale your meteor? You mentioned economic constraint, but you bought another 3 lakh bike with less milage and more maintanence cost. I don't understand 🙂
Great points. So here is the rant 😁 I needed urgent cash about 4 months ago. I sold the meteor and got the cash which pulled me out of the crisis. I didn't buy Dominar with the meteor's selling money. For 4 months I worked hard to save money and then got the domi. For the mileage side it doesn't bother me much because I only ride domi on weekend rides and planned to do a few major trips. Domi is not my daily ride & for the city + other requirements I have an activa. So net, I am at break even with a meteor. Cheers!!

Hey, can you mention the mobile holder you use? and any other additions like headlight switch?
I use the bobo mobile holder. Headlight switch I got it from a local shop

What about the tappet is that making sound or it's affecting the performance?
No tappet noise is common with RE bikes, but it should not be too loud as well
