ITINERARY
DAY 01 Zhangjiajie (Dinner)
Assemble at NAIA Terminal 1, three (3) hours before the flight, depart for Zhangjiajie, arrived Dayang International Airport, meet and transfer to hotel, have a good rest, dinner en route
DAY 02 Zhangjiajie (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Hotel breakfast, Late shop, tour Zhangjiajie National Forest Park to see Avatar Mountain, Tianzi Mountain, Mihun Platform and West Sea of Peak view through Bailong Lift, an elevator that goes up to see the floating mountains, Jinbian Creek (Golden Whip Stream), Bailong lift down, after dinner transfer back to hotel
DAY 03 Zhangjiajie (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Hotel breakfast, check-out visit the Jun sheng Sand Painting Museum, after visit Herbal shop, afternoon optional
Evening check-in at hotel

DAY 04 Zhangjiajie - Manila (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

lunch visit the 72 strange building scenic area recorded as the tallest Tujia stilted building in Guiness book of world record for picture taking after dinner transfer
to airport for return flight, Tujia Folk Garden

During breakfast the photographer from Day 2 will give you the pictures. 10 yuan for each the others even had a photo book printed and a calendar like photo of them ( I forgot to ask the price). After breakfast and a quick shower, we took a walk along the road of our hotel. Nothing much to see yet because most of the stores are closed. This is when my diarrhea started as well lol
Our 1st stop was a herbal medicine shop, where we had a free foot massage while they presented some of the products. They even have "doctors" that check your body and heal you with "qi" (it feels like an electric shock)
We travelled from Wulingyuan then to the lunch area then back to the city.
Since we didn't avail the optional tour: Tianmen mountain and cable car ride, so we just walked around to check what's in the city. We should have visited the 72 Qillou or the Tujia folk village, instead of just sleeping in a cafe the whole afternoon. It was really hot that day. We had korean samgyupsal for dinner (which I think contributed more to my diarrhea the next day). After dinner the others watched the Lady fox show. We stayed in the 1st hotel for the last night, we were supposed to do karaoke but it was too expensive and everyone just decided to call it a day.
Last day, we went to a jade shop. I think we got scammed in this place which we just learned when we were in the airport already. So the thing is this stop is part of their government's tourist spot and every agency has this stop so how did we get scammed? As you enter the building, a guide will welcome you and they will show you around and explain the artifacts inside. Then they will lead you to a room where they are supposed to present something but someone will disrupt the presentation and tell the presenter that the boss is in the building. And then he'll be speaking in front of everyone, so the story changes depending on the crowd (this is in a blog from other traveler) in our case the CEO said that his daughter is marrying a Filipino from Cebu, that's why he loves Filipinos so much. And because of that he is going to give everyone free gifts (which is a jade pendant), then he will give cheap prices for every product. Luckily we just bought cheaper items which is still pricey for me but thankfully we didn't buy more. I'm not sure if the jade is real or not.
Lesson: Search for scams before the trip and do not easily trust what they offer especially if it's getting discounts from their items.

Hi @@carpediem6128 Meron silang mga magnets and shirts tapos may mga toys na avatar kasi avatar mountain. Tapos meron ding mga calligraphy art na pwede bilhin since chinese art. Pero other than that food na yung naiuwi kong souvenir 😅 hindi din kasi talaga ako masyadong masouvenir so hindi ko na nacheck
