@65eZ Yeah since this video was taken there has been a little bit of a suspension overhaul. Still trying to get a set up that he likes. This is my dad racing BTW not me. Thanks for the comment.
@1965mustangfb 289ci. Bored and Stroked to a 331ci, original iron GT-40 heads, Solid lifters, solid rockers, I don't know the compression, cam lift, carb CFM and all the specifics. The engine was built 15 years ago by Don Roberts. A new engine has since been put it..... Basically same set up with 550hp.
@Go0dSir yes some of the other cars may have more than 500hp, they may also weigh less... better HP to weight = better acceleration. Since this vid this car has had a new engine (550hp), and the suspension re done.
Well, These are expensive, sometimes rare vintage cars. Most of them, like the camera car are privately owned and operated. Any expenses it takes to support this type of racing comes out of your pocket. That includes if you were to be responsible for damaging another car, and a real Shelby Cobra, Chevy Cheetah, ect....aren't cheap. BTW, nice girl slap box/pillow fight video....who's the Nancy?

I just finished a trick coilover suspension for a 65. I could post the DIY I did for it but youtube wont let me post the link for some reason
