Dave Despain opens the ESPN/ABC video vault to review the SCCA sanctioned Road America 500 from August 9th 1963. The event was the penultimate round of the 1963 United States Road Racing Championship.
This program features interviews with Carroll Shelby, Bob Holbert, Roger Penske and Bill Wuesthoff.

My dad was in this race. He owned and drove the #58 black Elva Mk VI. He finished the race.
