Im glad i was able to find this video. I had no idea how an unlocked phone was added to a network and a best buy employee told me that it wasnt an unlocked phone because i said "im not sure how to add a carrier to an unlocked phone" before saying it would be best to go somewhere else.
Once the balance is paid your phone will be unlocked. You just cant have a balance or contract with verizon. The phone automatically gets unlocked once you pay them. @BestBuy
