Good review tft….I remember kabana in the 1980s …yes it’s correct it’s been there since then. What you might not know is the reason it was located there…that area of the northern quarter was the home for many Asian Pakistani businessmen who opened hosiery warehouses along that road …it was full of them trading in fashion clothes throughout the mid 70s to the late 90s… so kabana was really aimed at them…cooking that same style of food lunches for them all week…home from home food… back then, the decor wasn’t as plush..plastic seats etc..but that recipe of Desai style food was there then….your review has kick started that nostalgia…I’ll have to pay it a visit now..
Love it bro. You’ve been smashing out the reviews lately and this is another gem. Love the interaction with the owners when you visit these establishments. Keep up the good work bro. ❤
Haan jee muta chuza check out Foodbox in Burnage, Manchester. The owner is called Waqqas. Theres a burger called the Espioto Burger. You won't be disappointed! @T.F.T
SubhanAllah...I used to eat at this place every week when I used to go college in Middleton. That was just over 30 years ago... Week in week out I used to eat a Seekh kebab in Nan.. This brought back some serious memories 😢😢
I wish I’d known you were going here, Riz is a great guy, we’ve been going since 1995, but you missed a trick, the curries are fine, but the chicken tikka and lamb chops are phenomenal. I’d say the best chicken tikka I’ve ever tasted and that’s some statement, charcoal grilled, with proper masala on top. If you go again, make sure you try the grilled meats
GOOD MAN !! THIS IS A PROPER PLACE I go here all the time the lamb karahi is amazing the chicken biriyani and lamb chops are also the things to try 👌 I would have taken you here myself lol had I known you were still about
Next time TFT, you should try Yadgar just across the road from Kabana. Top man, really eay going fella and food is banging. He will defo give you a warm welcome...and yes he also accepts card too. No problem for coriander and green chillis on the side....home cooked food from momma feeling.....i mean actually his mums in the back making the handi! cant wait to see you there troll! peace out!
Great video TFT, this place is mad busy as soon as it opens with the shop workers, office wallers and shoppers all grabbing a quick tasty lunch...and yeah the owner is a diamond 🩵
Amazing or Stupendous😂. TFT are you aware Musafir at Earby have just won an award last weekend. Get in touch with Majid. You need to try their Lamb Chops and Lamb Karahai
I'm watching your videos from Turkey bro, I will be going back to UK in next 2 weeks and will be going to this place, I think I will show them your video and hopefully I will get the 5 in 1, I always watch your videos, keep the videos coming TFT, wasalaam from Pakistani Amjid in Turkey 🇹🇷👍
Yes it's like little secret they send out the daily menu to a community group, I heard about it they use the kitchen when weddings are not happening and sell from a cabin walk ins welcome from 2pm I can share the number so they can add you
Its the original and best followed by this and that who I think have just fell off. My uncle had a clothes shop a few doors down in the 80's and 90'. There was a pace called khans next door who did the best seekh kebabs ever
TFT, In my opinion you shouldn't take free extras on your meals and instead try and get an authentic customer portion size. Otherwise you are getting played by the restaurants for good reviews and skewing the perception for the public. I like the authentic review approach but I noticed you accept these freebies quite often which loses authenticity of experience.
