Another wild ride, this one in a cool, refreshing setting. Once again, the effective use of words in the sentences and the well-rationed sprinkling of details deepen the imagery, and the tone and dynamic pace of the narration bring every scene to life. At times, it feels almost like being there - not that I want to be there, but great job!

The leader messed up a bit in the beginning by leaving the crash site unsecured while they went back to base. He should've called in the county sheriffs, state police, and national guard to establish a perimeter. Use K9 and drones to detect and track the alien prisoners.
That crash site should've never been left unsecured. Given that it was a prisoner transport, most likely it had a handful of advanced weapons on board. What if the escapees had doubled back remembering to grab the guards' weapons?
The aliens could've racked up a serious body count, requiring a drone air-strike to neutralize them in the end. The leader got lucky.
Secondly, they should've broken out the proverbial "good china" in terms of ammunition the instant they realized they were dealing with aliens. I'm talking armor piercing using tungsten and or depleted uranium. Fuck conventional rounds. Use drones to drop small pieces of high explosive ordnance on them before engaging them directly.

Great story but it does say alot about us. The prisoners never attacked humans . So why did we feel we had to engage them with violence? Just a thought

I love these stories. However, I agree 💯and am grateful for you bringing up, what I’m sure many of us have felt from day 1. Completely unnecessary and quite annoying.
@chrisweidner4768 @mikekennedy6228 This has been discussed a few times with my viewers, and I also ran a poll. An overwhelming majority voted for a continuation of the current tone, as it makes scenes more realistic-more like how characters would react in the exact scene if it were real life. You cannot expect characters to talk calmly all the time under stress or when their lives depend on it. I will do my best to control the volume in those parts.

I absolutely agree with what you said. I rather enjoy your zeal and enthusiasm you inject into your reading and also the characters when the 💩 hits the fan. It sounds more realistic and builds up the suspense. Anyways, just wanted to say you're doing a great job my friend. Many of us use these horror stories to unwind and fall asleep to. That's why people find yelling and screaming to be jarring. I feel you though. I just listen to these when I'm hyped up now.
