    What size is your barn overall? How big is each pen? How many times a year do you empty the manure stacks?

    • @brianaden7302
      @brianaden7302  2 года назад +1

      100 x 340 foot
      200 head per pen 3 pens
      Varies winter haul out every 2 weeks summer it gets full

      @@brianaden7302 I’m in the design phase of building one myself to hold 300 HD. Is that a compost bed pack near your squeeze chute?
      How often do you clean each pen out completely? I’m trying to see how much manure storage I need for 300 HD so I only have to haul it all out once a year if possible.

      No it’s my load out pen but cattle are in it 95 percent of time
      I basically clean 16 foot around bunks and walls every two to three weeks
      You’ll need a good size outside place to get you threw the summer
      More poop then you think but it’s good stuff

      @@brianaden7302 My brother-in-law's family own the funeral home, there. Is horizontal better than vertical for mixers? I would think the horizontal would mix better. Don't know why there are so many verticals, though. Nice set up!
