I’ve been a switch lite owner since a couple weeks after launch. The form factor, the feel, the buttons, the utility, all of it is so much better than the regular switch. The lite doesn’t drift. Mine never has, I’ve heard other lite owners say theirs hasn’t either. I had to pick up this special edition. Most likely gonna keep it sealed until my og lite gives out. Which I don’t see happening anytime soon. It might be my favorite console.
Gotta be honest, this is the most I've looked forward to any Switch system yet because over the past 2 years I've really come to the conclusion that I prefer the Lite WAY more than the regular Switch because the small size and weight are just far superior to me, but all the Lite's color options have been mediocre at best before now. Just got a good deal on one of these for $185, so I'll probably just keep it forever haha. They did such a good job on these Hyrule Editions.
Nice man... i wish i could of afforded the Hyrule Edition Switch Lite but I just picked up the game today.. loving every bit of it so far... it's really fun and creative...
Nice i pre-order mine awhile back. I plan to keep this in box. Will plan to resale years down the road, BUT if my OG switch breaks I'll definitely open this
@@ferkenell I have Zelda 2ds, 3ds xl, game and watch, switch OLED, and this lite on the way! I used to have the Animal Crossing 3ds XL. I sold it, and wish I hadn't. I also had and sold the animal crossing switch, but don't miss it. They will just sit on a shelf once switch 2 comes out I'm sure! Haha. I got my kid into Zelda too :D
really depends on you :) do you already have a switch? do you want to play on the tv? whats your budget look like? for me, this is a second switch i keep in my car and play whilst charging it or waiting for something etc. i really love it personally, but my zelda oled is the daily driver
@@ferkenell I have my animal crossing switch for everything but man this is beautiful but also it might be excessive or do you like playing portable on the switch or rhe lite
Ii just picked up my nintendo switch lite zelda hyrule edition i pre ordered mine when we were able to i traded in my switch version 2 since i have an switch oled and i am glad i did it looks amazing when i unboxed mine switch lite zelda
really depends on the buyer, some people just want a small handheld that can play the switch catalogue. my main switch is the zelda oled and i love it, but i can definitely appreciate what the lite has to offer
@@ferkenell then you would of bought the small Nintendo lite years ago I think you bought it cause it came with the 1 year expansion pack which is only $59.99 that expires not yours it’s different when you give you a free digital copy of a game that’s yours it has no expiration date
I think there's two main reasons people got this lite, one is to add it to their collection and if thats not you that's fine, and the last reason I see anyone buying a switch lite is for the portability of the device compared to the larger model, but that's just imo
@@Hardhat_137it’s not for collection it’s a waste of money it’s what it’s called Nintendo doesn’t let you anyways play on more then just one console go learn to save your money for the next Nintendo console that’s releasing in 2025 then go spend your $230 on another console that could if bought you games kiddo
