Love this video. I worked on many of those turbo-props; Dash 8 at AirBC, twin otter and turbo otter at westcoast air/ harbour air (that turbo beaver has the Foyle wing mod invented by my old boss Bill Foyle), king airs from kenn borek air, buffalos from SAR 442, turbo commander (we have a trainer at work)
Some super nifty aviating on the Shrike at 13:00 - very Bob Hoover-esque, the Shrike Commander either inspires greatness in the cockpit or attracts it but I've seen more skilled aviating in the Shrike than any other turboprop twin
As an aviation artist and passionate lover of the art of aeronautics the PC-12 is and always will be not just my favorite in it's class (turboprop utility) but my favorite aircraft in general, hek I think it's my favorite machine of all time, possibly my favorite man made object - there are few things in this world that give my goosebumps like the 12 and even fewer machines that strike such strong emotion in me...like metallic poetry. A close 2nd would be the Dash 8Q4...sexiness with an edge, aesthetic perfection under-appreciated in my opinion.
+cpockettsAviation Thanks, I'm a bit turboprop fan myself. The Starship is a great choice, it would definitely be amazing to see one of them in person.
Realy exaityng to see this video,,, the operations to take of,,, take land,,, on the water, baetifull imagens. First of all Congratulations on over 10,000 and keep up the great work, I'm always looking to see whats next. I would have to go with my favorite being the L-188 Electra because I work on the L-188 Electra's and P-3 Orion's and a close 2nd place would the Seaplanes, but I love them all.
+Ed Whisenant Thanks so much! I love the old Electra's as well, always impressive to see. That must be interesting working on them. I'll have to get up in a seaplane some day, I bet they are a lot of fun.
Ya, I spotted N441A here a couple years in a row. Loved seeing the Conquest II visiting CZNL. You're right, both times I filmed the takeoff they seemed to be quite the fast turn and burns!
Nice to see these turboprops in 4K my friend! very nicely filmed and a great view again on each aircraft! Sorry for not commenting your videos for such a long time. The reason is that i was and still am sick :/
Depends, if on roll out you possibly witnessed the automatic optimizing of pitch but it is not uncommon in the run up to cycle pitch as a part of the pre-takeoff checks, one thing is sure, it's the ultra quality of this video that allows such observations.
A Thrush fire bomber on floats. Didn't know there was such a thing? And the Aero Commander....going all the way back to the early model 500U...I always thought the Aero Commanders were the sharpest looking airplanes.
Easily the best aviation video I have ever seen! Superbly filmed, and with fantastic sound. I am your latest subscriber fan .... keep 'em coming please! Thanks.
I think it might be because all of the wind and water these planes carry. Canadairs often have different flaps, because flying over fire means that there is no oxygen, the essential for planes to fly.
+Anil Sangwan Thanks very much! All the clips are handheld and I run some of them through stabilization in Final Cut Pro but I find it usually messes them up more than it helps.
Only 360p so far. *waiting* for at least 1440, which is my monitor's resolution. (I know it's probably not your fault, but youtube sometimes takes a while processing the (U)HD versions.)
+pinkdispatcher All the resolutions are finally available, sorry about the delay. That's the one thing I really don't like about uploading the 4K videos, it takes forever to upload and process.
+TheHDAviation Yes. One way to avoid having people wait for the higher resolutions is to leave the video "unlisted" until it's done, and only publish it once 4K is available. Thanks. Great stuff, as usual.
Soy de Venezuela y he volado aviones mono motor y me da mucha nota ver y oír los turbo motores mono y ni mostrando sus potencias, además de que sus pilotos son campeones apasionados al vuelo!
I normally like big planes more than small planes, but these planes are awesome!
I love the sound of turboprop engine. I could listen to them all day.
I can't lie, I have a bit of a soft spot for the King Air
Me too
Best 30 minutes of ASMR.
Love this video.

hah,First thing that came to my mind too...seen his routine many times at Reno ...
13:02.nice approach.......and Nice Compilation
that Buffalo at the end popped off the runway way before much smaller planes. That is serious STOL performance right there. Great video.
So true, I'm always impressed by the performance of the Buffalo. Going to miss them when they're gone!
Great compilation! Love to see separate categories of aircraft!
Fantastic compilation!Awesome 4K quality!!!And congrats to reach 10K subscribers!Huge LIKE!Greetings from Germany!

+cpockettsAviation Thanks, I'm a bit turboprop fan myself. The Starship is a great choice, it would definitely be amazing to see one of them in person.
There is one that flies out of Addison, TX or close by.
Very good intro. That´s an amazing turboprop special, especially the Pilatus.

Congrats on 10,000 subs!! That's absolutely amazing. Very nice video, I have to say my favourites were the CC-115s of the RCAF!

Rockwell International 690B Turbo Commander .Great videos and superb quality.

Fantastic compilation man! Loved it! My favorite one was N75NG (that nice looking PC-12) :-D congrats on 10,1K!
+YQBspotting Thanks a lot! That's a good choice, that PC-12 was a beauty.
16:04 The air intake makes it look like it's smiling.
23:32 This plane has about as much "clearance" as a Dachsund or a Basset Hound. 😄
Haha so true, the PC-12 at 16:04 does look quite happy 😃 and I always love seeing the low-riding Turbo Commander.
A really wonderful compilation. Many thanks

Beautiful...
I've seen that N441A in some of your other videos. Love watching that one, but the pilot has a SERIOUS case of gotta-get-there-itis.
Ya, I spotted N441A here a couple years in a row. Loved seeing the Conquest II visiting CZNL. You're right, both times I filmed the takeoff they seemed to be quite the fast turn and burns!
Never seen such a short take-off by the DASH!
It's impressive how little runway the DHC-5 uses, one impressive aircraft!
Awesome video! Congrats on 10k!
+Manchester Aviation Thanks!!
Definitly the King Air!
+Alexandre CHAMPIAT Good choice, the King Air is one of my favorites as well.

wow amazing video

Amazing video mate! Great shots and quality! Liked!
+jelmerpilotHD Thanks very much!
I noticed that during spool up/takeoff the pitch and sound changes, is the pitch of the blades changing along with the RPM's during inital rollout?
Depends, if on roll out you possibly witnessed the automatic optimizing of pitch but it is not uncommon in the run up to cycle pitch as a part of the pre-takeoff checks, one thing is sure, it's the ultra quality of this video that allows such observations.

Good👍
My favorite out of the ones here would probably be either the PC-12 or the Dash 8,
Although i don't mind the Saab 340 either.
Those are some good choices, the PC-12 and Dash 8 are definitely at the top of my list as well.
Let me know your favorite turboprop in the comments below!
Air Canada Dash 8 looks sweet

Love the BUFFALO best !
Same here, one impressive turboprop!
N98AJ Takes off without flaps at minute 24. It shows by the way he takes off, the plane wants more speed.
Easily the best aviation video I have ever seen! Superbly filmed, and with fantastic sound. I am your latest subscriber fan .... keep 'em coming please! Thanks.
+bombaytaxidriver Thanks so much, I really appreciate the kind comment and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
6:00 - I wonder why that airplane drops the nose at take-off. Looks like his flaps are too low for a take-off.
I think it might be because all of the wind and water these planes carry. Canadairs often have different flaps, because flying over fire means that there is no oxygen, the essential for planes to fly.
These engine sound satisfy me
That conquest come in a little hot? Tough to choose fav, do like KA's and the Rockwell commanders. And anything DH.
+zigarten Those are some good choices. I really love the King Air's as well, and the Turbo Commander is always impressive to see as well.
23:35 no flap takeoff??
Scott Hoskins yeah interesting 🤔
Is that buffalo takeoff typical of all of them? I’ve never seen an airplane that levitates. Does that happened every time on the 5?
They always seem to lift off like that when I've seen them at CZNL, it's definitely unique!
Takes off like a helicopter almost.
Hopefully that buffalo's port engine got some attention
First King Air C-GRXX, are those the long range fuel tanks on the rear portion of the engine nacelle?
They’re extra luggage compartments.
What's up with the floundering Cessna?
Aeronaves lindas! Belos sons! excelente vídeo
+Igor Barros Thanks so much, I appreciate it!
ধন্যবাদ...
thanks
I have a king air 350i great plane
Nice, that must be a fun one to fly!
That Buffalo took what 700' to lift off must have been really windy yes?
Yes, I'm always impressed how little runway the Buffalo need. And even less when windy like that.
Go the PC-12!
Finally i got something to see....
Great job as usual. Do you use anything for stabilization?
+Anil Sangwan Thanks very much! All the clips are handheld and I run some of them through stabilization in Final Cut Pro but I find it usually messes them up more than it helps.
you do amazing job, next time I am near your airport will get in touch with you. Thanks for sharing amazing aviation photo/videography.
Okay, that sounds good!
Is that a farm use crop duster on floats?
This one is used for wildfire fighting.
Yeah, makes sense like if you fill the dust tank with fire extinguishing powder

Awesome!! I am shocked that there's 20 dumbass people that went thumbs down. This is the best one yet!

is canada the heart of props??
Haha it definitely seems like it :-)
It’s as if you are standing in the runway 😂
