Niko I just wanted to let you know that you are a huge inspiration in my life right now and I watch your videos almost every day. Feeling very determined to learn and come close to your skill level one day! Much love bruvva big ups
I ran across your channel by accident and. When I saw what you were doing teaching others how to dance to D&B and Jungle I had to subscribe. I'm 43 and have been dancing since I was 6. I grew up in Los Angeles, CA, in the Rave scene and had to learn how to dance by watching others. Many people in the scene at that time treated teaching others how to move their bodies like it was a criminal activity. It took a lot of years to learn many of the styles that were around. I went from sucking to being one of the best dancers at most the raves I went to. After that I made it my mission when I went out to dance to teach others how to do the same. People need to learn from someone who isn't afraid to break it all down into simple step by step instructions so they can get comfortable and enjoy what electronic music has to offer. I actually found your channel because my girlfriend, who is 47, asked me to teach her how to dance and I wanted to brush up on some of the basics so I could show her. She missed the whole Rave scene experience when she younger and she wants to get in better shape. Anyway, man, I applaud what your doing and want to give a big thank you for teaching others. If you aren't strictly a Bass-head, I would encourage you to learn other styles as well so you can teach people who are new to dancing how to learn those styles as well. You've got natural skill and there plenty more people who would follow your content to learn Liquid, Popping, Breaking, Point Locking, gliding, etc... Anyway, your pretty good with your feet. Keep it up brother.
Great advice, man. Much appreciated! The arms are so often neglected and I tend to find myself doing very little or a half-assed liquid style with my arms and hands while doing dnb steps. So much to learn. So much fun.
