Really feels like to me she's far above what the other C tiers can offer with her general strength and ability to do different jobs. Fights aren't always about damage - and when they're not Anabel has got you covered. Would bump her up a slot.

And I also would definitely bump down Aldo to B tier; he's not bad, but definitely less good than Mariel, Cerrine, Gariyu, or Mana. Yes. At some point WFS just started to release units with much higher modifiers and bonuses that leaves the older units behind. Its just unfortunate because they seem to stop caring about balance in the game.

Imo Tiramisu is severely underrated. Not only is she probably one of the best aoe attackers, but if you upgrade her spirit she can deal massive amounts of damage. However, she does have weakness in that her damage doesn’t increase during af finisher and that she doesn’t contribute massively to the af bar

This tier list will surely be changed bcoz of early ranking until these units occur and old units being buffed, so the game is well balanced and will surely be balanced.
The one I mainly disagree with is AS Isuka. She's a pretty strong wind unit that can land good debuffs to help reduce damage taken on party and land pain on bosses, all of this in one stackable move, as well as significantly buff the rest of the party. Sure her skill set can be tricky to use, but still, I would easily, EASILY, put her in the A tier on this list. I definitely don't see her as a lower tier than Helena, Altena, Bria, or hell, Amy. But hey, these lists are pretty subjective. Some units benefit from the presence of other specific units more than others. But I have no problem putting AS Isuka in any party composition because she can still single handedly debuff bosses that would otherwise one-shot my entire party, as well as outputting pretty strong damage at the same time.
Low speed, lack of team wide contribution buffs and/or debuffs on enemies, slow ramp up, and low modifiers compared to the new units will do that unfortunately.
Exactly what AntixAlles said. Later units will do the same or more than the current available units at a faster pace allowing them to push out more damage during AF.
your tier list is very situational and depends on 1 or 2 things that make or break the character. if you generalize the role and set it so that the base requirement for tier level was if they could fit in ANY team and play the role based on skills they have it would turn out MUCH different. the magic zone buffer for example is worthless in a team of all sword units. look at the individual character without matching them with others then rank them for jUST what they can do like they are the only unit in the entire team. you can do another video telling best support, best healing, best damage when buffed, etc. but for a tier list they should always be stand alone rankings.
Most of the people who are looking at this are probably new players like myself. We don't know the portraits by name, so it would be really helpful if you had a text version of the tier list as well.
Agree with most of this! I would maybe put Dewey and Tiramisu up to S though. (Also Clarte doesn’t have a confirmed gender so in English you should probably use they/them pronouns.)
I'm very suprised you didn't put Dewey in S. Units that buff critical damage are VERY rare, and it synergizes perfectly with AS Yuna giving guaranteed crits in water zone. I think that justifies him being S. Also, I think Tiramisu deserves to be in S, simply because she ignores defense, which completely trivializes some superbosses. All in all though, VERY nice video that also provided some useful insight into some new-ish JP units, especially where google translate on altema failed me.
tiramisu is awful in AF, and the characters with long animation and low AF bar gain will never be close to S tier her only use is farming garulea mobs with no worry of resistence, and maybe regenwurm 2nd phase for now and in the future as well, characters that have short animation, multihit and some sort of crit buff will still be the best, and i hope tiramisu manifest can make her one of them

With the correct setup tiramisu can do 500k with her dragon (not including her earth damage), wouldn't classify her as A tier with that kind of damage.
I wanted tiramisu to be higher up the list (bc waifu lol) but her whole thing is clearing trash mobs and even if she can deal 500k she suffers from a very very slow animation so she's not as useful in an af compared to other units and the meta revolves around af.

It's actually the first time I saw jp using her for the latest FEAR. (And I haven't seen myunfa been used in most videos nowadays). When one doesn't have that perfect team for a 2T AF or 1T AF, where 5 of your team is dead, having her or radius would definitely makes a difference in that last 1 to 2 hits to the boss. 500k+ damage vs a 20k+? Damage output..Just saying...
I see your point but that is kind of a very weird and specific situation. If someone didn't have the perfect team for a quick af i doubt that they would bring units that'll be able to bring the boss down to 500k-1mil then just die out and leave only tiramisu behind, it would make more sense to find a good team and rotation wouldn't it? Besides that, getting ranked down or being rank A doesn't always mean that she's shit and you should bench her it just means that there are better options than her to put on a team. The tierlist isn't based on damage output alone.

If it works, esp for extra content optional bosses, who would bother fighting it again (to ensure, but with no benefits whatsoever that one achieved a full party survival rate) if no drops or medals are involved?
If they did it first attempt that tiramisu is the only one left that had just the right amount of damage to finish it? (cause a fight with 1 last unit alive is something we definitely encounter frequently) Good for them it was their first try but if they lost and they saw that one slither of a chance that they could kill it I guess it somehow makes sense to them to try and try over and over again instead of actually making use of the info they got from first fighting the horror and there's nothing wrong with that if that's how they roll then that's how they roll. If the horror was in a dungeon yes it would be more sensible to fight a horror over and over again just to beat it even if your team is specialized for beating the boss of the dungeon bc that is more important and i didn't say that the entire party will survive all i said was that it didn't make sense to bring units that will just die off when their damage isn't even enough to kill the boss and especially in a dungeon run now you're left with 5 1 hp units and a tiramisu that's about to die in the situation you presented ik you can use food. A party with 5 units dead and the last unit almost dead doesn't really scream winning more of barely surviving.

I'd try to ensure you DON'T lose your account, and then just work on whatever you find fun. Try to get Morgana and Joker through the persona quest when you can, they'll help a lot for campaign progression when it starts to get difficult.
Yep, this was just a request people were asking for some time and the last time I did a tier list video was back in January so a lot has changed since then.
The game is single player without any multiplayer pvp or arena so take the tier list at face value. You can still enjoy the game and all of its content with any units you pull. It comes down to how you utilize your party composition with what you get.
Unfortunately yes. She has been a weak character even when she came out. Her set up is too awkward and she doesn't have any guarantees like other units in the game. She has a fantastic design and I do hope (along with Palo) that WFS gives her some significant buffs maybe with her manifest at this point.

Yeah. I mentioned in another comment the multipliers that newer units get (400% is normal now) versus units before 2.3 (where 200% is on some of the best units) is blatant power creep. They just cannot compare.

Sucks since I really like the older units like Aldo, Azami, Feinne, Cyrus and Amy and I want a reason to keep using them in future content. I've had them for a while and they have really grown on me.

I agree.. But Tiramisu needs lots of effort to be that good.. Unlike some newer units, blasting enemies with minimal preparations

Yeah. I mentioned in another comment the multipliers that newer units get (400% is normal now) versus units before 2.3 (where 200% is on some of the best units) is blatant power creep. They just cannot compare.
@@FinalesFunkeln Wow, hopefully they allow free and older units got buffs soon to catch up or at least gave them AS form. Sucks since I really like the older units like Aldo, Azami, Feinne, Cyrus and Amy and I want a reason to keep using them in future content. I've had them for a while and they have really grown on me.

So among the SS tier units you listed, which 3 or 4 would you suggest Global Players save up for?
She’s not mentioned, but I am for sure saving up for Ilulu AS. I would go for Rosetta AS, but I have her OG and will hopefully just be able to get the treatises.

urahara228 use jp Altema and you can see who is the best in the game. Though if you have a waifu/husbando then save for that lol
