- Whether you're looking to find out more on the Yamaha DTXtreme II Special Kit or just want some soothing background jams for getting some house cleaning done, this is the video you've been searching for.
I'm not even a drummer and I want one!!!!! This is the best electric drum kit I've ever seen!!!!
@gtrmn34 - I am personally a Roland fan. I got the TD10 a couple months after they came out and I have had no regrets. The only problem I found with them were the pad and cymbal clamps would break due to constant travelling. Had to change to the newer clamps. The one thing I admire about the DTXtreme is that the snare is three zone.
I can't believe Yamaha got this guy to demo their kit!
i just got mine today
i just got mine today
This drum set must cost a bomb. A perfect Christmas gift for me.
"...this is the special virgin... we have a standart virgin..."
@ solemate40 - Thanks for the advice. I was trying to test out the kits but nobody had the DTXtreme in their stores, only the Xpress. The Roland kits are nice though. Thanks again!
electronic kits blow out my arms regardless of how cutting edge
@TreYohn Ooo, I'm so jealous! XD Congrats and have fun with your new toy.
I'm in Canada and this kit costs about $2600 and the Roland TD20 is $8000. I'll go with the Yamaha.
this kit with addictive drums software=win
Where are you Tom? are you still with Yamaha? we miss you
I was considering the Roland V drums until a sales rep talked me out of it. He said the Yamaha Xtreme kits have better sound and feel as an acoustic kit. That decided it for me, a salesperson who works on commission directed me in another direction and it wasn't even about money for me. I haven't gotten them yet so if there is any other feedback as to what are better I would appreciate it much. I will have my new kit after I research them more thoroughly.
The Xtreme is from the extreme high price
I suggest that u go out and play them both and decide what works for you. Whether u're looking for feel, looks, functions, How much space u have at home, sound and tone quality, be sure to use headphones then. They both might not sound too good because of factory settings. I'm sure at the end of the day one will jump at you. Good luck.
wow amazing stuff :D
Some questions aren't worth asking.
You hit the jackpot. And did it "sound" like i was worked up? If yes sorry, but emotions threw a bunch of scribbles we call letters just doesn't really translate.
well done video but the audio quality is so lousy that the true sound quality of the module
doesn't come through . . .
nice kit..i should have one!
On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me....
dayum
if I had really deep pockets, I would frankenstein this kit with one of the high end rolands....they both have features I really like...I'm sure this is in a similar price range
I'm basing my desicion to buy Yamaha on a totally finacial basis. The TD20 is awsome, I know. The Yamaha kit is also very very good and a hell of alot cheaper.
Nice
what does namm mean? is it an acronym? i wish there was something like this in the philippines
WOW! that sounds like SUKIER version of roland drums
This is one sick ass drumset how much does something like this run. I need a set with volume control, I have an old slingerland kit now
Realistic sound effects and options...
omg thts nice
does the snare include positional sensing btw?
like that edge snare sound?
Where is Akira Jimbo when you need him....I guarantee if you guys see Akira Jimbo play you'll want a DTXtreme III
Google?
Some questions are hard to answer, others can be looked up.
@jonnysoloman Check out Akira Jimbo he's Yamaha's premiere Electronic/Acoustic user...
I do have the simple one with just two cymbals and no three zone ft :/
Oh man, it looks this guy has been playing for two weeks...
@jonnysoloman Right?!?! Johnny Rabb definitely put me in love with the Rolands. This guy is quite boring and monotone. I'm not excited at all about this drum set...
thats me at 0:30
Do they still make these?
5:55
They Should Call that mode the emerson lake & plamer mode ha.
is this better than the IV?
search this 'Johnny Rabb TD12 Kit Demo'. the td12 makes this look like a toy.
@pancholoco17 and he actually does the same with the hi hat ...
Drum module sounds ROT go BFD TOONTRACK or just about any other library
Can anyone tell me for a good eletronic kit which will last a while how much will i have to spend?would i have to be paying four figures? ta
i can see those tuning knobs becoming a problem down the road when they loosen and wear out and i think the Roland kits sound better
damn look at those bags on his eyes -_0 ahaha
dude why is he holding the drum sticks upside down in the near start?????????
everyone likes roland i went to guitar center today and played one of these and and all the rolands none of them compare besides of course the td20
i want!
yeah roland is the best
amazing, as same as the price
price?
Is that a joke?
Look at the price.
This is yamaha's electronic flagship.
OMG how much it is?
i just bought an electric drum, then saw this video... ;__;
👍
@chubbytuna77 yea but the td20 is way way way better
to be honest the kits sound really similar here..BE BOLD YAMAHA!
Why is he holding one stick upside down
If you took my comment as constructive information you would have been out there searching up a whole storm of info on e-drum kits.
Yet you prefer to argue with me, I don't need to learn or ask anything right now because i already did my research, so i am free to waste my time.
i just got this kit brand new for 10 bucks, australian
@dltodd1966 well said man
He looks Luke Mark hamill
Check this one out, it is the best electronic kit around. From the man behind ddrum (if you remember....)
watch?v=YpjZWujoTDY
like to hear the tones properly, picking up the sounds with a camcorder mic makes it sound empty and shitlike
Did it sound like i was joking? you need to relax. I dont know too much about yamaha's set, thats why i asked.
I prefer Roland Drum kit
All you read is the neggitive stuff, i said that this is yamaha's flagship model.
THE BEST OF THE BEST (for a yamaha)
Still think its funny that you stick to the "you have no life you're wasting time" When i already explained that. You read all the negative stuff i say and comment on that, its like your oblivious to the rest of the comment.
The reason i hate stupid questions is because i'm on a CG forum where we get this kind of stupid shit 24/7 when you could just use google to find answers.
this thing sucks roland has the market on lockdown
my dads filipino.......
This is crazy expensive...
1:34 ... sir, excuse me .. sir , u are aparently grabing the left stick wrong ... its the other way :S, and u call urself a professional
The sound of the kit on this video is miserable. I used one of these for two years teaching lessons and the sounds are much much better.
Was i being smart from the start? Your the one that said my question was joke. My point is you still took the time to answer my question, reply to all my comments, and took this whole shit seriously which makes you a hypocrite fool. Obviously it was a smart thing for me to ask a question here and i got an instant reply from you. All I wanted to know if this was better than the IV, nothing more nothing less.
@jonnysoloman He's also not a very good drummer :P
still way behind roland.
this guy isn't the best drummer to represent the drum kit
it doesn't sound like a real drumset, and all the kits he played sounds the same, and that is the ugliest snare and bass sound
See you're the hypocrite, go back to your original comment when you said "is this a joke?" obviously you're the one trying to make me look bad from the start. And you still have not answered my question why you took the time to answer my question when you thought it was a joke. Now you are taking this seriously by replying back to my comments. So that makes you a hypocrite fool.
xaaxaax nice joke !!!!!
Too much talking just show us the fuckin drums.
this guy can't play drums
The toms sound like crap. And as always, Yamaha is is over priced. I hate Yamaha!
Lee Jay: Ah, c'mon man, go easy here bud! I ran my DTXpress III module through a Technics vintage equalizer. This really improves the sound. Try it with any E-Drum set. It really works!
