John! I was getting worried! You hadn't done a video in a while, so glad to see you back at it! Thanks for your with and knowledge. Very inspiring as usual.
I've started quoting John - I said, "John Lord says moving roses is fine". "John who?" said my uneducated friend. "John Lord is wise in the ways of gardening", I said. Always good when another video arrives. From across the water in sunny South Wales.
omg, so much fun! so informative. and, added bonus, '..what the eyes can't see, the heart can't yearn for ...' and over the fence it goes! made my day. lolf. love you and your channel! so inspiring.
One of the best entertainers on RUclips. They should have you on Netflix or something even though I don’t have Netflix. Thank you for being yourself and being so without any pretentiousness. I absolutely love it!!!! I also love to hear your stories. Please don’t cut. Just make longer videos. We need to hear more of you so we can block out the insane world!!
Hello John Lord I love pruning. It's always a surprise to see the result...or not. I would love to see the spring shrubs and bulbs in your garden too. 😀🎉🌟
My goodness! I just love that feeling when I see a video pop up from John Lord's Secret Garden! It's so good to see you...enjoying all the videos you can put out, and it's NEVER "enough". Watching from USA, in Virginia, zone 6b.
Thank you for the rose prune. My sister has just moved to a house where the garden has been neglected for a number of years. I have been asked to prune the roses. I shall do so with confidence now 😂😂
Hi John so missed you and your garden tips. Hope your well and looking forward to new season. Still trying to book a trip to visit your garden centre. I live in Chester so it’s not easy . Hope to see you again soon
Always a pleasure to watch your videos John, thank you. Like you, I throw invaders, prunings etc over the fence lol Neighbours aren't too happy haha, seriously though, I have a bit of waste ground next to my garden.
John, you were just savage with those rose's! Now I know I (probably) won't kill mine because they are out of control and need a hard pruning. Mine are Knock Out and are known for their hardiness. Blessings from Georgia USA, zone 8a.
Down to earth as usual John, well done. I need advice on how to tidy an Angel Fishing Rod (Diarama) Can I cut it down to about 12 inches now as its so raggy at base. Thanks in anticipation.
You should never have explained about owning the buffer land, I enjoyed people giving out about you throwing stuff over the fence into someone else's land. 😀 😀
Can you keep them in a densely planted border, also with the intention of growing slower, not getting as big? Theory says no but ive heard the opposite too
John Lord, or, friends of John/fellow gardeners. Need a recommendation for a tree, not too large, clay area that tends to get wet, but does dry out..and there is lots of wind at times, zone 6b, Shenandoah Valley, Virginia.
Always a good day when I see notice of a new video from you, John!
It's never enough, watching you pruning John.
John you just tickle me with your recycling those rose bush cuttings. I’ll be smiling all day over that one. I need to build a fence!

Those birch trees are one of my favourite parts of the centre.

Blimey. Shocking madness on the rose. Gutsy moves! What’s it look like now?

John great job. Throw that waste over the fence any busy gardener would do the same👊
Was just wondering where John had been!
Yeah. Same here, I was just thinking to myself yesterday that I really miss John‘s updates and here he is! 😍
I think he has been hibernating 🤣🤣🤣
@@anyat686 like most of us. 😭🤣

Cut! You're the bestest!
You were a bit rough with that Rose John. I'll be having nightmares tonight... Good tip with the Birch though. Thanks!
Thank you
Just cut my shrub roses yesterday. Wish I had a buffer land to use Use my pine tree line for some stuff
Can you keep them in a densely planted border, also with the intention of growing slower, not getting as big? Theory says no but ive heard the opposite too
Thank you so much about how to pick the leader. I have always cut the one I didn’t want as leader 😞😞😞
Enjoy your videos.
Where is your garden John, I am in Stillorgan south Dub, more than happy to volunteer if any good
A true plantsman 🌹🌷🌾🍃☘️🍀🌴 thanks John x

My local garden shop near baltrasna co.meath
Have to say John you "recycle" the same as myself 🤭
John Lord 💞
What is worse than pruning a thorny plant? Weeding under a thorny rose. That is why gardeners hate weeds and thorny plants.
And the absolute worse, weeding thorny rhizomatous weeds under thorny rose.
You went mad on that rose alright. yikes
They have a very long growing season in Ireland, which makes possible many things that would never work in the US Midwest.
@@ransomcoates546 yes. Longer indeed but still quite a savage chop. It was a a well established bush however.
@@digitaldemocracyai-rob I was surprised to see that in our system Ireland is Zone 9-10, but without (up until now, at least) the tropical heat.
Nursery person John surely you have not become woke
