I’m so glad to see this be said, for some reason people in the vr community especially seem to be especially obsessed with realistic graphics in games.
For this new series hopefully it runs for a while because I'm here from saints and sinners a while back and before that I'm excited to see you longer series like it and one that will keep you getting better and upgrading your character and getting better stuff
It really boils down to how long a VR game is that determines how long a series ends up being. This one is about 8 hours, so I'd judge about 14-16 videos since he doesn't edit out a whole lot.
you make every single game a whimsical mysterious journey. You have a knack for making things appear more fun than they really are lol I love your content! keep going Wolf!
I watched one other video on this game from Beardo Benjo. The others I purposflully ignored knowing Wolf would not miss this game. I LOVE your videos mate, thank you!
@@goten3268 that is literally not what I typed 😳 idk why it looks like that…suppose to say “I came to the comments looking for this - what language is it?”
At first I was worried this was going to be a "Stones of Harlath" clone with better graphics. But after watching a bit, this is clearly a more polished game. But you know, even if it were another Harlath clone, that series was still great to watch. It's also no Iragon.....yet. I guess we'll have to see if people's clothes start falling off the more damage they take. Looking forward to EP2. Thanks as always!
I had the opposite reaction. Don't understand why there is buzz around the game. It's not bad by any means but it's not offering anything that you won't find in many other VR dungeon crawlers
"I love sticks" occupational VR hazard of playing green hell and song in smoke back to back. An unexplainable obsession with sticks and rocks. ;) Thanks for the videos!
There's an anime just like this, with the dungeon hunting and the paring up with a helper ect, its pretty cool, its called, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon.
Regarding the artstyle/realism: Funny how we're seeing more of that in VR for the same reason it was a thing in early computer gaming (desktop and console): Hardware limitations. There _are_ some aspects of realism that I'd love to see more of in VR, though, _even_ with non-realism art styles. Examples: Ray tracing (yup, fits even with flat or pixelated textures and geometry) and more robust physics and collision physics. Especially the physics part seems to be underexplored compared to light, geometry, and texture realism. Like, how far do we need to go to get zero accidental clipping and realistic joints interaction and cloth physics? Very far, especially on a tight hardware budget, but I still wanna see it. Imagine a game that looks like a traditional Disney movie, including the lighting and (cloth) physics, but is all interactive. Also sound design and sound _physics_.
Almost finished with video, and one question keeps nagging me. Can you use melee weapons or are they just teasing you with these people walking around with cool weapons
I feel like the best way to do VR combat is to give the player simple abilities and make the enemies more complex and unique. This game has a lot of nebulous projectiles that don't seem to grant a flow to combat. And the charge times make it seem clunky. Though of course I've not played it so I can't say for sure.
Wolf, if you like the magic combat, I would recommend Wands Alliances. The multiplayer is by far the best, so if you play Wands Alliances, play the multiplayer.
I just bought this while it was on sale with my Quest store credit, so if it sucks, it's your fault! :p In other news, I was just kidding, and I can't wait to play through this! It's like an Anime RPG game come to life!
This artstyle is very beautiful!!! I'm glad it didn't decide to be "realistic", as it just wouldn't work- *FIREBALL* 🔥 -as I was saying, it just wouldn't work for this type of game.
i love when a game goes for an artstyle instead of realism
It can't go for realism because hardware isn't up to it yet.
@@Hawky2947 it could easily would just have to be pc only then. Though artistic games always age far better then those that shoot for realism
I’m so glad to see this be said, for some reason people in the vr community especially seem to be especially obsessed with realistic graphics in games.
@@josephkeen7224 I also hate that alot devs seem to think that games need to be in first person for vr.
@@josephkeen7224 i would like to see a realistic pavlo/onward and a squad in vr.
Does anyone else remember when every series he did on a game was connected by a kind of story? Did that ever end? Did we get closure?
I think he just stopped
The King of VR kept sending him to different realities, right? That was an awesome storyline.
It might be just on certain games
Yes he died I think
Yea we really got closure on his content and his humor kinda got corny but I still watch cuz his videos are fun

Wolf: "You just stole my soul out of my very body"
Me: "No, she stole your body from your soul"
Love your vids by the way
I had the same reaction when I first played
that was my thought exactly
I love the flair and energy he puts into everything he does
For this new series hopefully it runs for a while because I'm here from saints and sinners a while back and before that I'm excited to see you longer series like it and one that will keep you getting better and upgrading your character and getting better stuff
play onslaught for fun & mechanics then. or a fishermans tale for story.

Love the banter in this video.
Literally every VR playthrough acts like its their first VR game ever
He's wants to act in every VR video he does lol
Seeing this makes me wish more anime IPs had vr games particularly junji ito and bleach or soul eater would be cool as well
Wolf : your my new favourite hing in the world
Quill : cheatder
6:12 the expression on iris’ face is similar to mine when wolf is talking over the npc
They are literally speaking Japanese and it's subtitled
played the demo and was like im in love with this game

It’s all fun in game until wolf find out how to use magic
Your my favorite vr youtuber
Wolf, I love you even more now. The mention of Reaper from FFXIV made my day. Thank you.
This is a prototype for all the Manga adventure stories

Bro you are an amazing commentator. Like holy, I am really enjoying this
Thx for this cool video
I like how wolf is trying to say the lungage
This feels like a mix of until you fall and Skyrim
2:40 hahahahaha awesome
The music's so good!!!
Wolf: what the hell are you?
Also wolf: don't do that in front of a person
The art of this game is spot on. An English Dub would help this game a lot. However I will say the game really does look awesome.
INTROS IS LIT AF 🔥👌
Sweet
I have been playing this game and it is excellent
Love the art style but scared to buy it. It looks really easy.
commenting cuz it helps the algorithm
Wohoo
I’m loving this
Cool
When i saw the weird lizard thing i scream IS THAT MASTER OOGWAY
That was awesome Wolf.. 👌
You and your darn cliffhangers wolf
Having B and A on the menus makes me think back to the Gameboy era
I'd really like to see the Chronicles of Riddick games get remade into VR.
Now THAT'S an idea
Wolf got isekai'ed to another world, become an adventurer, conquer dungeon and building a harem. XD
Wolf in vr: he’s so cute
*he says staring at the corpse*
Legend of Zelda meets final fantasy?!? IN VR?!! I'm so freaking jealous
That was just hype. It’s a fps with rpg elements. 🙁
Epic
Amazing video ! This game is so cool . ChuckNorris38 approved !
this game looks cool I hope its a long one so that we can see a lot more of it
Nope. It can be beaten in a few hours
Was gonna get green hell today, but now that this is out, NAAAAAAH 🤣🤣🤣

Wands alliances sucks there's no free move, only an awful teleportation system
