Well done on the video, easier to catch them than film & catch.

Thanks Trevor, Yes filming it adds extra work for sure with the battery needing to be changed every 1hr 1/2hrs I have ordered a fitting so I can have a cord plugged in from a powerbank

@@akhector I like that way of thinking, I was sensing the law of diminishing returns after 31 years of hunting browns at Euc until I realised its the adventure we seek up at Eucumbene , the time out and being with our tribe not really the fish we catch, that gets us back there every year, cheers trouti

Yes that's it! I absolutely love this quote

G'day Peter just watched your Eucumbene Extreme video awesome stuff! Great to see you happy and enjoying life, some quality fish there! You fit all that into just a Saturday and Sunday that's pretty extreme in itself 2:30am start that is extreme but as they say the early bird gets the worm, I like your style it's hard to get anyone who is extreme these days, some great info there i think i need to go a lighter leader just read article by Kaj Bush and he reckons it makes a lot of difference I had to comment here because you can't put a comment on your video I think when you have uploaded it you have ticked "yes it's made for kids" if you do that comments are not available you can edit go back into youtube and untick that box so comments are enabled that's if you want that.If you want your video to fill the screen chose a 9:16 aspect ratio on your phone or camera.Well done great stuff I am guessing the white rod is the albino one!

@@akhector thanks camoman, You have to find those wild opportunities and just do it, hey!! You would have been 1 of the only people I know who would have also revelled in such a wild run. It was an ace weekend trying a new lure!! I don't have your contact details or I would have extended an invite. Thanks for tips on RUclips -but deleting video's as I don't really know how to use this media properly? Tried calling around to catch up to you 1 day when we were walking Hunchback but couldn't remember your place, anyway, have fun. Trouti

Nice! I sent an email with my contact details, I didn't want to try to send it to the old number because they might of allocated it to someone else by now.

Thanks Camo, soft living imposes upon us debility and we eventually can't do the things we begrudgingly can do now, so we keep pushing the boat out. The trip we did to Euc last week was an express run to try a New Lure. Would have given you an invite- but don't have your contact? You would have loved it, next level stuff - Pete, (I'm not good with RUclips, haven't resesrched it, so giving it away).

Thanks Andrew It was a battle against the wind the whole time except for that for the evening session on that first day's fishing the other blokes in the group got a heap of fish trolling that evening when they could get into those big open bays in the middle of the Lake.

G'day Michael, If you give trolling a go it's only a matter of time and you will get one if your in the right spot at the right time, 13gm Tassie Devils trolled on relatively light line 4-6lb mono or braid up to 10lb, troll at about 3.8km/h.Your chances will be better first and last couple of hours of daylight, overcast days are a lot better they hate bright sunlight, a bit of chop on the water is good if you can tolerate it, somtimes you can get nothing at all in a particular spot somtimes in the same spot you have to fight them off with a stick if you get on to a bite window, at times they can go crazy for no apparent reason that's the magic of fishing it's very unpredictable.
