I think he has an avoidant attachment style. I feel like he really likes me , but as soon as he lets me in becomes wishy washy. He over thinks it so hard. But I’m getting tired of him being all over the place. I have cold feet now. I keep acting like it doesn’t hurt and I give time to analyze everything, but I’m starting to not want him anymore. He’s teaching me how to leave him behind every time he takes one step forward and one step backward. He’s going to be doing this wishy washy dance by himself. In the process I’ve been for him the whole time wanting him to make a move, but now I feel like when he goes to make that move I’m going to just tell him he’s too late he made me question everything and overthink it too after. I felt sure, now I’m not sure. I’m starting to lose that fire or spark for him. He’s pouring so much water on the fire that not only is he taking the fire out, but I’m starting not to want him to make a new fire either. His energy is making me feel so cold from how much he’s picking it apart. I think he’s just scared of his feelings but he’s burning me out. Im losing my own feelings for him. He’s going to have to find someone else after this.

@@nunya6346My best advice is walk away. It forces him to make a decision. If he cares and doesn’t want to let you go he’ll pull you back in. I want the ball back in my court so instead of waiting for him to figure out I’m his equal I’m just leaving. I feel a really strong connection but the only chance I have with him making this work is to walk away so he respects what he has. If he comes back I’m making him work for it now and I’m going to be a little distant. Hope yours goes better than mine. Thank you Sweet Soul for sharing your gift with us. I walked away after he lied to me and disrespected me. After some time passed he called me and asked me to go for ice cream, we had a good time. Next he invited me to go to the Jersey Shore, we had a wonderful time. We had a conversation and I told him I had boundaries in place for my own protection, and every time I lowered them I only hurt myself. He said I don’t want you to hurt. Arrived back at his house, I got into my car and left, he told me I was rude. Next day he invited me over for dinner and we had a great time. I went into his house 😮now I haven’t heard from him today. If he disappears again, there is no going back, ever again. So I will wait and see and enjoy my life in the meantime.
