Okay here's a fact,. It has been historically documented that numerous civilizations have rose up to importance and then collapsed for one reason or another whether it was natural disaster whether it was invasion from another country,. So it is possible if not more than likely that there have been numerous civilizations over thousands of years far longer than we even suspect with potential technology that could have rivaled or even surpassed Rome maybe even as far as the Middle ages
One of these advanced civilizations could have Rose to importance have technology close to that of the 15th or 16th century or even more advanced and then a giant earthquake or a volcano or a tsunami could have wiped out that Civilization or five or six years severe drought and then all that technology would have been lost. I would be willing to bet that there are civilizations that have been in existence thousands of years before Samaria or Babylonia. But died off with no record left of their have even existenced.
I'm addicted to watching these dives but this is the kind of thing that frustrates me, never knowing the answer to what was seen, whether it's something really odd like this or something more mundane like they aren't sure the name of a fish. I wish they had a section of their website that showed a few pics of the most interesting things seen on each dive and a explanation of what it was, or what the scientists think it might have been.
That under water road is too perfect to be done by a volcano. I believe it's proof of a great flood of Noah's days, and that is the remains of a lost civilization destroyed by the great flood mentioned in the Bible.
Does anyone remember Jacques Costeau? I grew up watching his show, and wanted so badly to be an oceanographer. Even took all the oceanographic classes I could take in middle school. But my parents couldn't afford college for it, and told me it wasn't practical. Ugh.

Have dove Yonaguni twice and it really is awesome. But IMO if you get the chance to go do so around February and get a chance to swim when the hammerheads show up there for breeding. Even if you end up thinking the monolith there is just "natural" the chance to free dive with so many hammerheads was epic! To be fair first year I went I felt like I was diving over a pyramid, second year I was a bit more skeptical seeing similar rock formations on the island. Still lean more towards "lost civilization" though!
Imagine if there is a hidden civilization at the deepest depths of the ocean, still alive and functioning, far beyond our reach. Modern submarines can only go so deep, and only around 20% or less of the ocean has been explored.
Excellent explanations of how these structures were created, discovered, or sunk. I think this is the most educational video of these underwater structures I've seen. Also, the best explanation of the "bends" I've ever heard! Well done on your research and presentation. 🏆👏
Oddly enough, the original missing ruby slippers from "The Wizard of Oz" were found underwater. lol. They were seated in a paint can and found by Josh Gates in a flooded mine pit.
It kind of reminds me of the Giants causeway...... there was some natural occurrence that made the rocks in the shape that they are. I think there's this common misconception that things like this can't occur naturally in nature but sometimes they do, and its so freakin cool.
calculating water pressure is done by taking a cubic foot of water to weight 64 pounds. A columns of water 1 inch square and 12000 feet high equals 24 tons.

Okay the opening statement is a little wrong, fish don’t build roads or buildings so instead of saying ‘where no humans have never explored or seen’ Should be, ‘where no MODERN humans have explored or been to’
Idk why people think it's so hard to believe that some of these places are under water cities, after all the Bible says there was a flood on earth, this making thousands of places under water like Atlantis.
Re: Yunaguni, I'm Team Lost Civilization. However, I think the site was a quarrying site, where blocks of massive stone were cut off and used for building materials or whatever.
Yeah that’s just my friend jerry in Minecraft sorry he’s laggy so he had enough time to swim down there and place stone bricks. Sadly, he died. We lost all his items because keep inventory was off. R.I.P jerry in the replies.. :(
I'm waiting for the conspiracy lot to claim the lava bricks are the work of Aliens 👽😉🤣🤣 Fascinating video, as always entertaining and educational, brilliant 😊
I know it's got nothing to do anything hardly in the video but it's sad to see captain Jack Sparrow because of ATurd and her try to attempt to destroy Mr Depp.

I find it rather amusing when it is thought that "the sea level fell exposing new land" and vice versa. In my own mind I find it more likely that land in some areas were lifted, slowly by tectonic pressure, until it was exposed as arable land. Many of these newly formed land masses were often very temporary, and subjected again to sink beneath the ocean, while the ocean itself had remained mostly constant. I think most of the artifact discoveries beneath the waves, only reflect land forces, and and are evidence of the previous state of the shoreline.
No way. The water was lower once and people lived there. Then a sudden flood raised the water levels. Leaving the cities at the bottom of the ocean. The end. Real fun stuff here is that civilization has been around much longer then they want us to believe
Good click bait. Seeing more of the actual "road" made me realize it's rock, especially starting off with scientists getting samples near a underwater volcano....volcanic rock formation sometimes look unnatural because of the cooling process and depending from which rock the lava originated from. Looking at a paused vid, it doesn't look like a brick road at all, even the first brick roads ever laid did not look that crap, so it is far from a brick road, but it did look unnatural, bet there are many who will keep saying it's some lost civilization, come to a geotechnical lab, we'll teach you a think or two🤣

This is such a terrific channel. I'm amazed at how perfectly our narrator can pronounce every language. I love watching/listening.

This type of videos about mysterious discoveries of space, land or sea is where Be Amazed really shine, wonderful job guys
It is crazy. I wish we could explore more but leave it untouched and left alone. Some sea creatures would look insane

pretty interesting idea, fun to think about! 💭
Interesting.

I agree with you on this
The great floods did occur around 12,600 years ago due to meteorites striking the earth and coinciding with the younger dryas.

It's not far-fetched. Hexagonal columns can form in places due to the same reason. The brick shape is likely due to the mineral cleavage.
