I was a student at Ashoka in the year 2019-2020. Even at that time I so wished that they did away with all this unnecessary fancy show-off stuff! Useless sculptures, expensive sofas and TV screens everywhere... Bhai iss sab ke liye fees dii thhi kya humne?? I wish Ashoka does away with all this show-off and reduces the fee too. I want to pay for good teachers and basic, simple infrastructure. Tumhaari faltu ki designing aur show of wealth nahi dekhna.
My family and I would have been really really happy if we did not have to completely empty our pockets to get a good education.
I can't speak for others, but throughout my one year at Ashoka I always felt an inferiority complex. Harr doosre bande ke paas i-Phone and Macbook. The food options were ridiculously expensive!!
I studied at Ambedkar University before joining Ashoka, and my god... it is a completely different world!

A lot of people actually pay for the facilities as well and want those facilities. Its not a hidden cost, you know what you're paying for when you enroll. Infrastructure and facilities are very much a part of it.
