While I do fully agree with you on that, I’m sure there’s a more deeper meaning to Watame’s break down.Though it’s joked about repeatedly when it’s brought up every now and then, there are some here, if not all, that are actually trying to take becoming an idol seriously. Having that goal in mind and striving for it is what got Watame here, I can imagine there may have been others that she had to compete against to have the spot to be the voice behind the sheep. All, that "dreaming" creates, are harmful expectations. Its bad. You just should do whatever you like, with full commitment. When you focuses too much on the end result (future) - you become unable to appreciate good things that happens NOW. You losing motivation and feel of yourself. You basicaly torturing yourself that way and wasting your own energy. You can't be like "someone else". Your life is unique from the start. Find the thing that you like to do. Thing that you will do even for free. NOT the achievement. It should be routine, that makes you engaged and happy. For example. You will never became good writer if you do not like to write all day long. Even if it is only for your own fun and not for the broad audience. The dream " i want to become famous writer" or "i want to write real cool story" just makes you suffer. But if you have fun with writing stories - it is inevitable, that one day someone would have fun to read your story too. It is just like any other evolution process. Dolphins did not dreamed to become become "dolphins". Swiming and hunting under water for millions of years makes them who they are now. Find the routine you like to do -> make it sustainable -> have fun with it -> proffit. And remember there are many things you can enjoy in your life, NOT just one. Explore yourself.
A lot vtubers cheered me up while I'm going through some tough times. They work so hard and most of them barely even get any sleep so the least I can do is to support them wholeheartedly with whatever they're doing and with what they wanna do in the future.

Heya Birdkun, thank you so much for translating it! I was late in joining the vtuber bandwagon (roughly a little over 3 months ago), and by the time I found Watame, I was already enamored with Suisei's. When I watched her first Deer Simulator and listened to her introduction song, I just felt something different about her that was on stark contrast with Suisei's: Her incredibly expressive presentation and glee that comes out of every line like it is so natural. This quality of her doesn't always translate to good singing, or overlaps with good technique even, but she is capable of sharing her energy by singing whether in times of sadness or happiness - I know that is the case for at least me. I cannot begin to imagine what does it take to be in Budokan, but as a singer I believe she has the right foundation. I would say she is one of the best Holosingers even with her flaws considered, but her standing there will be around low-mid roughly. Watame isn't there yet, but she is improving little by little. Wherever her road goes, I will continue to support her and hope she is and stay happy. On another note, I think Watame can benefit greatly by learning from Sora, whom I regard as the best Holosinger unquestionably. A part of me believes they are identical type of singer.
I hate it when people say "don't cry" Crying is healthy. Men women, sheep, human, it doesn't matter; crying is a good way to get your emotions out in a nondestructive way. Bottling things up is much worse. So cry, everyone, and as for Watame, I hope ahe achieves all of her dreams. I love this hardworking sheep 🐑💨
@@EvilDickism Sure, if you breakdown to the point that it gets in the way of your day to day life it isn't healthy, but it's certainly a better outlet for one's emotions than violent anger, rage or just pretending you don't feel the things that you do. There's always going to be times when crying makes you feel worse or is counterproductive, but my message was more for those who believe you should never cry, or that saying "don't cry" is helping.
@@HarryLin :\ It's a common phrase among many cultures, but I still don't necessarily think it's the best, in English or Japanese. Also, thanks for the reply, and your live translations. I have a long-winded random thought I'd like your opinion on, if you don't mind. I've been super bummed about Watame no Uta no longer have English CC despite the fact that I can understand a decent amount of what's being said during the ending sequences. Now my question is; do you think it'd be appropriate to comment about that on one of those videos, or should I just accept it for what it is? Also, the way the description is written in first person even in English felt a bit insulting to me. Obviously Watame didn't write that, but was it an actual translated message, or were we getting spoon fed some nonsense? It also said there's stuff see wants captioned in the future, and I have heard her say multiple times that she wants to do more original songs, but Watame no Uta being a constant source of happiness where I didn't have to try to hard to understand it is really something I'll miss. I'm sorry, this turned into me venting about all of the things I was going to write about in response to Watame no Uta, I understand if you don't have answers for this stuff or want to take the time to reply to them.
First Mio and now Watame... what's with Aqu- I mean the onions today? Goddamn ninjas... But in all seriousness, thank you so much for sharing these precious moments. This shows that VTubers do have feelings and they can cry. They are also humans like us. I hope people will understand this a bit more.
imagine in the future she actual become a really famous singer and watame fans in the comment section when she was a v tuber would be like filthy frank fans in joji comments
aww. most of them have felt this way before too. they've all had these sad days where they would sink in self-doubt because they see how good the other members are doing or how talented they are. and i can't blame them to be honest. while it's not a competition, if you're surrounded by people with this much talent, you probably can't avoid but feel that you might get left out at some point.
You always clip the best stuff birdkun. Thanks bro. Edit: Haha I see you in the chat there at around 5:05. Glad you were there showing our girl some love when she needed it.
And here we are 1 year later... Where almost all of her dream came true She now has a 3D , made many songs for us watamates and oversheep, and finally having a solo concert What a year it has been... I am so happy for her. Watame nambaaa oneeee !!!
Well Watame is definitely the most talented out of hololive in my opinion, there is unearthly quality to her voice , even her normal speaking voice. It just sounds naturally comforting and carrying. She's the type of person everyone probably wants to be around
I may not be able to buy membership and superchats. But I'll continue watching all of them, and maybe one day they'll reach their dreams, I'll be the happiest man alive.
If she does make and write songs, I would definitely cover her songs on my childhood nightmare talent, the piano. I would overcome my anxiety that I have in playing the piano just to support her songs and make her successful because that night, to me, it was a genuine night which made me want to support her even more. She's not just a person behind a 3D Character model but also a person who wants to achieve her dreams.
Man, this is great, it makes you feel so close to her, and the comments here are so heartwarming and supportive, it's what every person needs to keep up with their dreams and don't give up.
Even without seeing this video you can tell just how much Watame loves singing and how much effort she puts into refining her craft. Her dedication to singing alone is incredibly charming. Between Watame no Uta and Night Fever, I was completely blown away. It can't be easy singing so many different songs. Rather than focusing on a genre, she broadens it. And she releases those videos almost daily. Night Fever is hours long and it's hard to hear the fatigue in her voice. Had me realize after a while, "Ah! You can't make this content without this much love for singing and a goal in mind." Since I don't understand Japanese, I put my efforts into closely listening to all their singing voices. To me you can really hear them pour their heart and soul out. Each of them has a story behind their voice. Music is a universal language afterall.
Watame is eating ramen in the middle of karaoke stream? That ramen must be really delicious xD Joke asides, Watame shouldn't try to hard, sometimes you need to relax and get some rest.. it's also part of the job, people can break if they don't Also, I thought the "counting" sheep song and TeeTee song are her original songs? Are they not?
Goodness! I remember thinking that her dream is probably impossible but she's actually pretty close to reaching it.. This motivated me to try to achieve the impossible..
From my perspective, watame is already a great singer. She definitely can grab that wonderful dream of her. I also think she already make her own song right. Well, this is a really heartwarming moment. 👍👍👍
The strongest people are the ones with dreams and ambitions. I heard that Watame was really happy about joining Hololive and becoming a vtuber, but it seems that she aims to go even higher. That makes her someone amazing, and I'm sure that as long as she keeps fighting for it, she will achieve all her wishes. Heres hoping that everyone from both inside and outside Hololive keeps supporting her always. She has a ANGELIC voice, and you can see she loves singing, so she got the potential to be as great as the artists she respects. Maybe even better than them.
Imagine that one day, far in the future, we end up being in Watame's concert without any of us knowing. Imagine that, out of a sudden, in middle of the concert, the lights go out- people will say they're technical errors. Imagine that, once the lights come back, Watame will be in middle of the stage, mic in hand, looking at all of us. Imagine that her first line ends up being: "This... wasn't Watame's fault at all!" #WatameHasADream
Watame tends to compare herself to her other hololive members and always felt like she didn't do good enough but we as her loyal fans saw how much effort she had put onto and how good her singing has become. I just wish that she would have more confidence in her skill as both entertainer and singer since she is very talented more than what she would've thought she is.
I agree with that ending statement. I ALWAYS look forward to Watame singing. She is so good and really gets the emotions running. (Whatever the song is supposed to invoke that shes singing) Heck i watch her sing more than i have any professional artist. This is a great dream to have and i think shes already accomplished that. (Maybe not the writing her songs part, not sure on that but...) Now having said all that.....i was watching some of the chats and i will never understand the "Dont cry" Ones. Crying is a relief, whether tears of joy or sadness. You are SUPPOSED to cry! Anyway, small annoyance whenever i see one lol. I know their hearts are in the right place, they just want her happy but, i personally like that HoloLive members are HUMAN and not putting acts or being fake.
She will reach her dreams too, eventually. since we all know she's always doing her best as well just like the others. I'll be sure to root for her and everyone else that's been really working hard for their dreams. 止まるんじゃねぞ!
So nice see the girls following their dreams, i just i hope one day (if the girls want), the girls will be reconizerd beyond the character they intitally were known, i see that the VAs have lot of talents in a way that they even get limited by just "following the character", i feel they deserve better than just be known as a "character" i hope that people dont mistoond when i say that, i dont hate anime girls or some thing like this... i just hope that, if the girls want, go beyond the "mask", be kown as much thier "characters" are The Kizuna Ai original VA (Nozomi Kasuga) was the proof that the girls can be both known on and off character, why others cant follow her steps?
Some ppl might not be ready of what is behind the mask tho.. It's like.. Umm... What if the one exist behind the mask is not what u expected to be or something like that Sorry for my bad ingrish
It's a good question, and I suppose we won't know the answer until one of them retires. It makes me wonder how vtubing is seen by the entertainment industry in general. Will it give them good chances at voice acting jobs? Only time will tell.
Every Hololive members dream is our dream too... Even you too, birdkun! Every vtuber that we're watch right might carrying everyone's dreams! Thank you birdkun for translating!! Your dream is our dream too! Good luck for the future birdkun!!

Just nice, you managed to save whatever you had to say....
Just support watame if you are truly supporting her not just by sending SC...
Yagoo’s idol dream is being carried by Watame
nice girl- hope she reaches her goals
A lot vtubers cheered me up while I'm going through some tough times. They work so hard and most of them barely even get any sleep so the least I can do is to support them wholeheartedly with whatever they're doing and with what they wanna do in the future.
coming back here and really happy for her on hololive 2nd fes really really happy you got to sing on stage with many people watching !!
only way but UP !!
Watame worldwide....I love this fluffy adorable sheep
With friends like Coco and Kanata , surely they will achieve their dreams and go beyond .
dont forget towa and luna as well men
And get high
I cant get over the fact that every time she laughs it feels like she is a ojou-sama...on a side note it seems like alot of vtubers right now are under alot of stress... idk if this clip was recent but its sad to see all of them get teary eyed....
This one was from yesterday stream
Yeah all of them have been stressed lately.
Many talk about it like this, but some you can just feel.
Maybe the stress from korona lockdown??
@@whoami1449 It's not corona, it's just the highly competitive entertainment industry and how unstable it is.
@@Azurekiteful Exactly, some of them are reaching a boiling point with these crazy schedules.
@@whoami1449 look up keyword 'korone schedule' on youtube, you prob will know why they are stressed
I’m not gonna say I’m SPEED in such a serious clip
I’m gonna say I’m EMOTIONAL QAQ
It's times like this they needed us fans the most :')
Out of everyone in hololive, Watame's voice is the most pleasant imo. She's really underrated but I wish her success on her endeavors.
All of us Watamates will be cheering for her and supporting her with all we have.
I hate it when people say "don't cry"
Crying is healthy. Men women, sheep, human, it doesn't matter; crying is a good way to get your emotions out in a nondestructive way. Bottling things up is much worse. So cry, everyone, and as for Watame, I hope ahe achieves all of her dreams. I love this hardworking sheep 🐑💨
it all depends on why when and how much you cry.
crying isnt inherently healthy
@@EvilDickism Sure, if you breakdown to the point that it gets in the way of your day to day life it isn't healthy, but it's certainly a better outlet for one's emotions than violent anger, rage or just pretending you don't feel the things that you do.
There's always going to be times when crying makes you feel worse or is counterproductive, but my message was more for those who believe you should never cry, or that saying "don't cry" is helping.
@@EvilDickism but you're right, saying "crying is healthy'' isn't the best way to put it. I should've said "crying is natural"
it can't be helped, because that's the "correct reaction" for Japanese. It's weird, but that's what it is.
@@HarryLin :\
It's a common phrase among many cultures, but I still don't necessarily think it's the best, in English or Japanese.
I Watame Itsuka, will keep moving forward! 💃
I sheep, have a dream
I love her creativity in singing so I definitely support her as she keeps going forward.
For all the silliness that watame is she is a really dedicated singer
First Mio and now Watame... what's with Aqu- I mean the onions today? Goddamn ninjas...
But in all seriousness, thank you so much for sharing these precious moments. This shows that VTubers do have feelings and they can cry. They are also humans like us. I hope people will understand this a bit more.
Lots of precious moments these days
Especially funny since Aqua has (or had) a LoL account called 'NinjaAqua'.
Did she talk about it can i have sauce of the stream or a translated clip one
Don't forget kiryu coco too..
How many Aquas must be sacrificed to bring you these moments?
Think of the Aquas...
imagine in the future she actual become a really famous singer and watame fans in the comment section when she was a v tuber would be like filthy frank fans in joji comments
It's her first time bro, tis a special moment
I can't even watch this completely without crying too
I'm glad she finally achieved her dream now :))
aww. most of them have felt this way before too. they've all had these sad days where they would sink in self-doubt because they see how good the other members are doing or how talented they are. and i can't blame them to be honest. while it's not a competition, if you're surrounded by people with this much talent, you probably can't avoid but feel that you might get left out at some point.
Her 3d debut better be a concert like Suisui's. I can't wait to be there and witness it.
She shouldn't cry. I believe she's very close to her dream!
You always clip the best stuff birdkun. Thanks bro.
Edit: Haha I see you in the chat there at around 5:05. Glad you were there showing our girl some love when she needed it.
My heart...
Please don't cry watame chan
She is so passionate about her dream.
She deserves it all
More reason watame is best sheep I hope she reaches her dreams!
i'd be lost without you translating these kind of vids so a big THANK YOU
She's the cutest
Thanks for translating these clips for us people who can't understand the Japanese language, much appreciated!
And here we are 1 year later... Where almost all of her dream came true
She now has a 3D , made many songs for us watamates and oversheep, and finally having a solo concert
What a year it has been... I am so happy for her. Watame nambaaa oneeee !!!
Alternative titles: 'Sheep May Cry: Wool's Awakening'.
Dang it I just remembered Woolie and Pat
Just Watame again, expressing how much she likes singing. ♡
I was there, b-but I d-didn't cry.!!! I didn't I swear! 🥺
Don't worry
There's some ninjas running around the stream and cutting onions
I was there too... sweat just came out from my eyes....
Damn ninjas zzz
Well Watame is definitely the most talented out of hololive in my opinion, there is unearthly quality to her voice , even her normal speaking voice.
It just sounds naturally comforting and carrying. She's the type of person everyone probably wants to be around
I may not be able to buy membership and superchats. But I'll continue watching all of them, and maybe one day they'll reach their dreams, I'll be the happiest man alive.
Oh this is when she 'eats ramen' on livestream, and sung Macross buff songs afterward, what a glorious night......
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this made me cry as well 😭
They really do set an example. I love how they talk about their dreams it makes me want to dream big and soar the sky as much as I can.
Man, this is great, it makes you feel so close to her, and the comments here are so heartwarming and supportive, it's what every person needs to keep up with their dreams and don't give up.
Why are there tears in my soup?
Also hope we will reach that day when watame play on that big stage
As a Membersheep myself I will always stick by Watame for as long as she is active and always remember her afterwards.
I'm so proud to me member sheep, I will support Watame as long as I can
This is sheep is so precious and so smug at the same time
Why are cutting onions here in this video. 😢
You can't make this content without this much love for singing and a goal in mind."
Since I don't understand Japanese, I put my efforts into closely listening to all their singing voices. To me you can really hear them pour their heart and soul out. Each of them has a story behind their voice. Music is a universal language afterall.
I love how wholesome Watame is.
I believe that she can make her dreams come true and I'll stick with her till the end.
Watame is eating ramen in the middle of karaoke stream? That ramen must be really delicious xD
Joke asides, Watame shouldn't try to hard, sometimes you need to relax and get some rest.. it's also part of the job, people can break if they don't
Also, I thought the "counting" sheep song and TeeTee song are her original songs? Are they not?
yeah and the watame rap is original too.
By the way she was conveying it, she didn't mean it as watame, she probably want to be a solo artist one day
I'm subscribing to this sweet little sheep right now.
Going to Watame's concert is not a dream, it is a life goal.
This girl motivates me to work hard for my dream. Even though she's a singer and I'm an athlete, she still inspires me to do my best.
Bless that wonderful sheep and her dreams, I hope she achieves everything she wants and more
2 years later but watching this again makes me crying like a b**** just like the first time.
Imagine that her first line ends up being: "This... wasn't Watame's fault at all!"
#WatameHasADream
Watame tends to compare herself to her other hololive members and always felt like she didn't do good enough but we as her loyal fans saw how much effort she had put onto and how good her singing has become. I just wish that she would have more confidence in her skill as both entertainer and singer since she is very talented more than what she would've thought she is.
Watame will go far beyond her dreams, not many can cry about their dreams but many quits after they cry
This is it.... THANK YOU once again for the translation
Sui-chan got a comrade to go to budoukan
Even if I dont know what to do with my life, I'd still support watame with all her dreams
See this now make me want to cry, look where she now 😭😭
I agree with that ending statement. I ALWAYS look forward to Watame singing. She is so good and really gets the emotions running. (Whatever the song is supposed to invoke that shes singing) Heck i watch her sing more than i have any professional artist. This is a great dream to have and i think shes already accomplished that. (Maybe not the writing her songs part, not sure on that but...)
Now having said all that.....i was watching some of the chats and i will never understand the "Dont cry" Ones.
The one dislike was from the butcher who want to get Watame but couldn't.
If suisei could, why not watame.
I am 100% sure that she will make her dreams come true
All ramen jokes aside, power to those who put in the effort and time to achieve something they want to. Stay healthy
Watame is the fluffiest thing on earth
So she deserves the fluffiest things too
Watamate army shall make it happen
She will reach her dreams too, eventually. since we all know she's always doing her best as well just like the others. I'll be sure to root for her and everyone else that's been really working hard for their dreams. 止まるんじゃねぞ!
KONO WATAME NI WA YUME GA ARU
So nice see the girls following their dreams, i just i hope one day (if the girls want), the girls will be reconizerd beyond the character they intitally were known, i see that the VAs have lot of talents in a way that they even get limited by just "following the character", i feel they deserve better than just be known as a "character"
i hope that people dont mistoond when i say that, i dont hate anime girls or some thing like this... i just hope that, if the girls want, go beyond the "mask", be kown as much thier "characters" are
The Kizuna Ai original VA (Nozomi Kasuga) was the proof that the girls can be both known on and off character, why others cant follow her steps?
Some ppl might not be ready of what is behind the mask tho.. It's like.. Umm... What if the one exist behind the mask is not what u expected to be or something like that
Sorry for my bad ingrish
It's a good question, and I suppose we won't know the answer until one of them retires. It makes me wonder how vtubing is seen by the entertainment industry in general. Will it give them good chances at voice acting jobs? Only time will tell.
@@Mustardear yea, i wonder what the future holds for the girls
Because Japan has bad history with stalker. That why fan like me prefer them not show face. Those stalker gonna use any info for track there victim.

jokes aside, Watame always warms my heart, will keep supporting her
Just yesterday I watched Suisei talking about her dreams and getting emotional too, and she also said her dream was to make it to Budokan, I didn't even knew what that was till then but I really hope they both get to sing there someday.
I legit tear-up on her stream last night cuz of this. Also, for some reason, there's a sudden increase of dislike on her stream.
The dislikes probably coming from her so-called "fans" who only watch her just for idol stuff. It's like they never want to have a wholesome conversation like this. But i'm just guessing so, who knows?
I don’t understand too but from What I think
The fan think “Artists” that she admired might be guys, so yeah.....
@@birdkun21 wow, even just admiring a male artist can cause a lot of dislikes. Idol culture in Japan sure is harsh
Idk what’s going on with watame I watch all of her streams and everyday she has over 300 dislikes before the stream even starts. And chat always starts at “who is disliking? Ignore the dislikes. Don’t give the trolls attention” etc.
It’s rough man. Why are people so mean?
@@PewPewSol Yes You are right
The dislike even come before the stream that is why she talk like that at the start of this video
